Hi everyone, sorry for the wait and thanks so much for your patience. A first fix should be available very soon. We'll let you know as soon as we have a date!

I think when the issue is fixed, a few months (at a minimum) of premium deezer wouldn’t go a miss, as a good will gesture even. For not having the service during the trial period, wasted because the app on the tv didn’t work, that’s only working once in the space of a month.
Looking forward to hearing back and the app being fixed.

Hello.
I have a LG TV model no. 47LA620S with the latest firmware installed.
Deezer is not working anymore as the app says it's not updated, but there are no more updates available.
What would i do?

Hi @Vittorio Cunsolo , have you tried to reinstall the app and change the password?
Hello @Rafael. i reinstalled the app and it worked a couple times.
But now it only shows a white screen on boot
So far, reinitializing the TV, reinstalling and trying to boot the app many more times, it looks like it's working now.
But another problem appears which i guess is a Deezer service bug: the TV i used to log in doesn't appear in the connected devices list.

Hi @Vittorio Cunsolo that's not an issue. It's normal that TVs and sound systems don't appear as linked devices but only devices that have the Deezer mobile app in use 🙂

I've tried to reinstall the app so many times, but it simply doesn't work anymore on my model: 49LJ5500. When I open the app, a completely white - or black - screen appears and nothing happens. The app seems unable to full load.

When it will be updated?

Just got an LG 49UJ701, was exciting about able to play deezer through the tv but am having the same experience as above, launching the app after install just gives a black or white screen and then nothing.
Is there an eta on the fix, hopefully it won’t be tooo long.

Can you please give ETA to when this problem is going to be solved ? This has a major impact on me deciding whether to extend the subscription or not. Also, adding a screen saver to the webos app will be very helpful. Plus, AFAIK your keyboard isn't multilingual, why?

About the keyboard, what do you mean? This depends on your device... 😉
Hi @Rafael. is development team actually working on fixing it? I mean latest update was back in 2016, this does give me the feeling that the WebOs app is abandoned..
I'm getting the same thing. Only device I really want to use Deezer on is my LG TV connected to my amp. I could use my PC or phone to listen but that hardly fills my living room with streaming music through a 5.1 sound system as I intended 🙂 If there's no ETA would it be best I unsub till this is working as it's wasted money until I can acually use the app is fixed?

Any ETA on resolution?

I joined Deezer last year because Spotify took their app off LG TVs.
Was really enjoying Deezer but now can’t use it anymore cuz the app is not working.
About to cancel Deezer membership subscription if this ain’t sorted real soon.
Youre loosing customers Deezer!!

Very disappointing that the Deezer app does not work on the LG smart TV. This was a major factor in me buying an LG tv and continued subscription to Deezer.
Are your Dev’s actually working in fixing this issue? Seems this app is not been updated in quite a while !!
Please escalate this issue with your developers and provide us with a fix ASAP, or I will be going elsewhere for my music.

Was using it for hours this afternoon having a great time, just tried to open into it a few minutes ago, and am now back to the black and white screens 😭😭 Is this as a result of the deezer app, LG webos or the actual tv (I know it’s not my internet connection). So I know it actually works, but why is this happening, shouldn’t be intermittent nor pot luck, should just work like the other apps. Who has to fix this issue, it is an issue, who’s responsible? Deezer or LG?

Just to add - Got my LG TV yesterday, Deezer worked fine for a few hours, then stopped, and now it's giving me a black screen 9 times out of 10.

And then if it does work, it gets stuck and I need to close it.

Basically, doesn't work. Please fix soon!

P.S. reinstalled a couple times, did not help.

Just bought a new LG 55" smart TV two days ago and the app doesn't work, had it up and running for a very short time but then no audio which kinda makes it useless as a Music streaming/listening platform.....
Hopefully this and other users issues will be resolved very quickly or I for one will not be renewing my subscription as it was one of the reasons I purchased the LG TV in the first place to tie in with my existing subscription and reading previous posts I think other folks will leaving in droves if no resolution is imminent.......
