Samsung TV keeps loading and nothing happens (cannot play My Music)


I've been a subscriber for around 12 months without any problems. Then from yesterday I've been unable to access the Deezer app on my Samsung 6 tv. I've deleted and re-installed it without any result apart from a message advising me to try again later. I can still access it on my desk top and iPad. Can anyone help.

Why Deezer app doesn't work at Samsung Smart TV? I have all actualizacion - system and app.

You better be quick to fix this. I am paying for nothing. Do we get a refund? Deezer has nice music, but to be honest your support is of the poorest.
Last time I can wait for your fix. Next time I churn.

Please assist, I cant access 'my music' from my Samsung Smart TV.  All other devices work fine.  I have reinstalled app, unlinked account, linked it back, tried again  but not winning.  I use my TV app the most of all devices.  I can sign in and access home page only. Please help

Still no updates? We are paying for nothing at the moment. If the problem persists you should consider a refund for users who are facing this issue related the Deezer App.

I use manly Deezer with my SmartTV. I love Deezer, but if the issues will be not sorted soon I will pass to the main competitor.

I’m using Deezer on iOS without any issues.

Also it works in web browser (quite slow actually, but it works).

But Windows 10 (version 1709) Deezer desktop app (version 4.17.10) is not loading music at all. I play a song and it’s buffering every 2-4 seconds. That means I can listen to a 3 min song in about 10 mins which is not ok at all. Do you have any issues with the app?

Also on my Samsung TV it worked until 1 month ago. It’s keep loading and nothing happens. I can leave it for 30mins and nothing is changing. I’ve deleted the deezer app and reinstalled and same thing is happening. Do you have any resolution on this?

So it turns out this has been going on for around 8 months as if you search the forums there are reports of this issue from back then...

This is beyond a joke Deezer.. it is clearly somthing wrong with your TV App with Samsung.. simply push an update to it through the samsung App store and get it over with. There is clearly an error establishing a link to the deezer server to produce the login screen ect. Hence the Devices keep sending out requests (loading circle) and awaiting a reply.

Enough of the whole "we will send a request to our dev team " Replies. Because clearly nothing is being sorted out.

Or maybe I should demand a partial refund for the limited service offered on 2 of my main devices I use which i can no longer access for the past 5 months, yet you continue to advertise it for.

Probably better off going back to spotify.

We're really sorry about that, we can understand why you'd be upset about this.

We've had some issues with our TV app for Samsung and LG TVs over the course of last year, and now we're far behind on an update for it because of that.

Some LG TV users are reporting that this issue has just been fixed - so it could be that a firmware update on Samsung's side can address the problem. In the meantime, we won't wait for that so I'll be passing your details to our teams here at Deezer :v_tone2:

I would like to thank the teams in charge of the new Smart TV application (Samsung and others), who are doing a very good job.  A big thumbs up.  There are still small problems to be corrected.  Improvements for the future 👍.  Otherwise I like the app very much.  Big big thanks to you @Rudi  for your patience and for your excellent work.

Deezer app in constant loading (spinning wheel) on my Samsung UE49KUhttps://tel:+446500 TV for quite some weeks and longer. Still works on phone thankfully but my daughter is so frustrated at not being able to use the tv to dance and sing to :(

I've reinstalled a couple of times but cant get further than the spinning wheel of doom.

Please help.

1) Access your TV Smart Hub by clicking the « Smart Hub » button on your TV remote.
2) Access the Samsung « Apps » section
3) Find the Deezer app
4) Select the Deezer app
Click on your TV remote for 2 seconds the button « Ok » / « Select », while focusing the Deezer app icon.

The Deezer app options will open.

5) Access to the Deezer app options
You will see a new Deezer app version « 3.008 ».

To update your app, follow these steps :
• First, « un-install » the Deezer app.
• Once un-installed, install it again.
• Restart your TV and start your freshly updated app

I have been a Deezer customer for over 2 years. Currently paying for the premium package yet the app will not work on my Samsung KS8000 smart TV.

Ive spent a considerable amount of time resetting my tv, dowloading the latest software, uninstalling deezer and reinstalling. I even had Samasung support remotely reset my apps, however Deezer does not work. Extremely frustrating.

Do you suggest I cancel my subscription if I cant use the app?

Hi Rudi, not exactly sure as my TV does automatic firmware updates. So I don't know if it was a Samsung update that caused the issue or not. 

 

All I know is that it stopped working and simply shows a constant booting up symbol after the white screen whdn trying to open the Deezer app.

 

Hopefully your developers will fix this soon as I mainly only use my TV to listen to music at home with Deezer.

For me the app loads, but when I start to play music there is no sound and the seeker just stays at 00:00. Been like this since I bought my TV. Other apps on the iPhone and Xbox work fine. :(

The app is working again for me.

I have't used tv app for a while because of known performance sadness. Today turned it on and my flip flops jump out my feets. New layout nad what is most important works super fast - no delays, long loading stages, even items lists load immediately. There must be nice caching. In a single word - wow! Great work, really. Using this app it's a pleasure now.

Btw I like device authorizing with a short code instead of basic login

If I have to stick to anything I can mention 2 wishes:

- missing audio settings

- controlling tv app with a phone app would make it awesome to the max. Standard remote control has never been most handy

Since a few months I get the "Deezer server is not responding " error on my Samsung Q80 tv. The app only works for 1 session after reinstalling the app. After I switch off my tv the error reappears. Its a big hassle to reinstall the app every single day. Looking at the topics Deezer has 0 control over this situation making assumptions they cant back up. A topic which drags on for years now says it all. A total disgrace.
