Chromecast audio issues - streaming interrupted

Adding me to the list of affected users. Chromecast playback is buggy. I stream to chromecast, after a few songs the app seems to disconnect from chromecast, though the music is still playing on the device. when trying to sync the app again it will connect but it stops what was playing and starts a random playlist. This is very annoying, especially if hosting a party.

I find Deezer to be a great music app, but chromecast is a deal breaker for me if the issues are not fixed.

Yeah right... No one is working on this issue, you would expect any developer to have figured this out in a couple of weeks at most.

The IT guys of Deezer are a real bunch of loosers......please hire some real professionals.

They are just playing with us.....
I just signed up to Deezer Hifi because I thought it would be great to listen to Deezer on my high end system. When the HiFi streaming to the Chromecast dongle is working it actually is really good, with a noticeable difference in the subtle details and clarity of the music compared to HQ streaming.
When streaming HIFI there are repeatedly issues though. Interruptions in the stream in the middle of the song, connection lost between the app on my phone and the Chromecast dongle, loss of play control, play time disappearing on the TV, and so on. Even the Chromecast hung up twice and I had to remove the power. When streaming in HQ mode I don't see these issues.

I reinstalled the Deezer app my phone, cleared the data, but no change.

Overall I like Deezer, but the broken casting would be a deal breaker to continue my subscription.

Deezer team please look into this. I found that many Deezer customers have been reporting these and related issues since a long time. I'd like to see this solved before my first month runs out, otherwise I see no alternative than to cancel my account and switch to another FLAC streaming service. If you have a beta or debug version I'll be happy to try it and give you more detailed feedback.
I recently uninstalled the traditional Chromecast from the home group. I left only the audio ones. until now solved the problem.
apparently the traditional Chromecast conflicted with the audio. I discovered it after a long time of tests. when uninstalling from the home group of Google Home, so far I have not had failures.

I use a Sony soundbase HT-XT3 with built-in chromecast audio. I have a Deezer Premium account. Casting was kind of working from my google homes and my android phone. The music would not last long thought and it usually stopped after a few songs.
I use multiple internet connections aggregated by my router btw. It may be a source of problem.
Anyway now for a few days it doesn't work at all. When I try to cast from either a google home or my phone the soundbase would detect that a cast is starting and it switches to casting mode, but the music just never plays. I have tried with Spotify and guess what? It works like a charm.
I don't now what's going on with Deezer but they sure suck at implementing a casting protocole that actually works.

I have exactly the same now. It could be that they are changing something. Let's hope so.
Fact is, Deezer did not have a working Hifi Service for customers with Chromcast. I will start over with Tidal.

Funny: Best player for Hifi is the buildin Deezer App on my Onkyo receiver, but usability is horrible.

I got a very similar response by email from Deezer. Even after rebooting the Chromecast it was a matter of changing to a different album, and after 3 tracks the whole thing froze again.
Too bad Deezer doesn't seem to take this issue seriously.
I've cancelled my Deezer Hifi subscription and signed up with Qobuz. Works like a charm as far as the streaming over Chromecast goes.
During transmission of the chromecat to the Raumfeld Connector, the connection is disconnected. This is probably due to overflowing Deezer memory. Please help me

Have you tried basic troubleshooting with the device? (switching it off, rebooting router after 3 mins, etc...). Please have a look here for more info and updates.

This is the reason I subscribed to hi fi again,. and now learning the hard way that casting to chrome cast audio is terrible! Having the same issues as described here. Sound starts dropping out and if I go back to the app on phone,. cannot control it,. as if it completely lost connection with Deezer. Im ready to cancel again since this is the only real reason I wanted Deezer for cd quality casting to chrome cast audio. Other streaming apps *(spotify, tidal) work perfectly without any dropouts.

Yeah, same problem here for me (premium user). Streaming with a Sony SRS ZR7 through a Moto Z2 Force or Sony Xperia X ist quite annoying. With Google Play Music or Spotify: no Problem.

and I just got an email response that says "thank you for your feedback". That's useful ! (sarcasm intended). Result: subscription cancelled.
I have an open support ticket with Deezer for the same issue, I thought it might be limited, but according to this thread, that I was not aware of, this thing goes back for months now.

I've sent in a video just to prove there is something wrong, and even though this is a known issue, support came back suggesting I should restart my Chromecast. Now i do feel ripped off.

Since HiFi audio does not work on mobile app, Chromecast is the only way to get decent audio through my home hifi system.
