Sorry we haven't been around for a while. But we haven't got any updates on this yet.
Partnerships also take a bit longer to get sorted. But I'll keep following this up to keep everyone updated.

Updates?? We are still waiting for the original status report - has Deezer identified the problem? do you know how to fix it? is anyone working on it?

Yes same experience. Also no problems using Chromecast audio with Google Play Music, Pocketcasts, TuneIn radio, JRiver. For me the only service that claims to work with Chromecast and doesn't is Deezer. Tidal also does HiFi streaming to the smartphone which Deezer doesn't.

Unfortunately for me none of them work with my Garmin watch so I have to keep Deezer even though they show no intent of resolving this any time soon.

I would say Deezer is much better at suggesting music I might enjoy, and then can't play it!!

This has been going on for a year now.... Slightly taking the pee I feel.
As @NeilB says: has Deezer identified the problem? do you know how to fix it? is anyone working on it?

For me it is almost certain, that they can't fix this problem. Deezer has by far the best app experience, flow music and collection/content. But they really have to much technical problems.
This is not the only one. Also the Denon Heos problems, HiFi playing issues with desktop app (many songs in flac seem corrupt). The thing is, no other streaming service has any of these problems. It looks like they have to invest to much money to make it just as stable as al the other services.
No offence to Deezer. I really want to help by giving al the information they need, but it would be naive to believe they wil solve the problems soon.

Looking at the length of time this has been going on and the number of comments I don't believe they have any intention of sorting it out.
It would however be nice to have an actual answer rather than very vague ones...
Those of us that want to listen to HQ streamed music have limited devices to stream it from/to.
I said before, there's no chance I'd pay over the odds for sonus when I have a quality hifi separates system that can simply (although in deezer-land its seemingly not simple...) be upgraded with additional hardware.

Hi there, as much as I love to stay with Deezer because it is integrated into google home assistant the missing chromecast feature now forced me out. Also changed to the tidal, there are no chromecast issues. Spotify also works very well, just not lossless.

Get your act together or you loose more customers deezer
Same thing here ,no way I can play dezzer with chromecast audio and i just bought it beacuse it.Dezzer we deserve what we pay for and you will get bad coment from me.

What a miserable Company. Months and Months of complains and no fix provided. Moved to spotify and everything works fine. They also boycott search of comments on web browser. Try to search for Chromecast issue deezer and no pages show up. If a page showed up you need to login to visualize it. SHAME ON YOU DEEZER. I have a contact at Forbes and very soon the world will know what a miserable company you are. Money stolen with subscription. I had faith in you and this is the biggest mistake I did. Community only available in English, limiting the damages to English spoken customer only. Sorry now I need to write in Italian so my fellow citizenship may read: NON USATE DEEZER. FA SCHIFO. IL SERVIZIO CHROMECAST NON FUNZIONA. USATE SPOTIFY O QUALSIASI ALTRO PROVIDER MA NON DEEZER. SONO SOLO LADRI!!! Back to English: I encourage everyone to cancel the subscription to Deezer. Don't give money to this bunch of incompetent. All the community managers are only pawns in their hands. They can only give you lies and lies on lies. So sad and sorry for them. For a few bucks in the pocket they sold their integrity. Don't let Deezer steel your money, stop subscription and spread the message on how miserable they are on all forums, chat, friends, etc.

First of all, you're more than entitled to share your opinion with others. But let's address some of the issues you may have had.

You should be able to search for 'Chromecast Issue' with ease. I've just done it, and there's no login needed. So if you've experienced that, may I kindly ask you to send me the url so that I can check it myself?
Furthermore, we have more than one topic related to Chromecast issues. Unfortunately the issues with the third-party device are evident but fortunately feedback has been passed from our community topics to the right team in our company - I mean, that's one of the reasons we open topics for discussion.

At the moment we're unable to provide support in Italian - but the fact is that we have 3 other communities in languages other than English: French, German and Portuguese.
