I'll keep it short, it's easy to get emotional.

After 3 years as the community manager for Deezer, it's time to pursue a new challenge! :sunglasses:

I just wanted to say thank you to you, my amazing community of fans and supportive people. :kissing_heart:

I know I didn't please some of you and our company wasn't always up to scratch, but I assure you that all we've been doing had you at the core of it. You are Deezer, yesterday, today and forever!

Thank you for your relentless support over the years - it moulded me, personally, as a better community manager. I won't forget that. :bow_tone1:

To new journeys, good luck to you and to Deezer. The future is bright, don't lose faith! :pray_tone2:

Your community manager,

Rudi

One door opens, the other closes.

Really sad that you are leaving Deezer.

I wish you all the best for your new professional challenge. Maybe we'll see each other again elsewhere.

You know things are bad when Rudi bails out.

It’s his decision.

Just like I decided to leave at the same time with Rudi, for new provider of my music.

I knew a bit earlier about his leaving, so I thought I’d pack my bags too.

As Deezer user searching my main music provider.

I am from 5 years Google Music which ended and was a bit tired of slow progress at Deezer when about 1,5 years here. Decided to go back to a server with which I started in 2010 my memories.

Rudi is admirable person, he tried the best to make a change Deezer, unfortunately it seems like the called “slow down” is elsewhere where he can not decide. I think he did a right decision, perhaps he will be managing new community with real growth. Rudi is great and honourable person to do that.

I, for example was about to leave Deezer months, but now it was easy with Rudi!

Deezer is average for me, but I need something more from a service.

So this is why I needed to go. All the good to Rudi.

We walk away together. I left Deezer legends programs and Deezer as my main app.

Best of luck for the future and your new job Rudi. I enjoyed our chats in the past and maybe we’ll bump into each other somewhere else one day.

@Rudi

Godfather, we only had a short but dirty funny way together. :-))

I was impressed a lot with your mix of competence and coolness.
Go on being yourself and make your way.
best wishes…

Hey @Rudi,

It’s really sad that you have to go, the community won’t be the same without you - held quite a lot of high spirits for the ever frequent frustrated members and subscribers to Deezer me inclusive in here - your comments and interactions helped calm the storms and usher new hope for better Deezer experience. You will be missed.

I wish you the very best in your future endeavours and have no doubt you’ll do a fantastic and commendable job wherever that may be!

Cheers!

Deezer is stagnating, leaving quality managers and users, according to my information, it seems that it is not enough to keep up with the competition, slow progression, let the basics not work and implementation of new ones is in the offing, Deezer seems to be at a standstill. I personally give Deezer another year's chance if nothing changes I leave as hpguru

If nothing will be change (xbox app, desktop app, missing local content), or I won’t be lazy, I will leave till the end of year. I’m sorry.

I left too, I do not see any progress coming.

Also when people are leaving it is a sign they do not see future at their job. Maybe they get as well less commuting or more remote work, but more often than that people can be just unhappy with their work. I do not see it will improve, they have too little of devs, which are over worked.

Probably best thing.

To go and enjoy the labour of better working apps still available on the marketplace.

Placido is about to leave, LoganA left, now the other guy too GropplerZorn.

I think they will see more of a leaving because people are just unhappy with the end product.

When community work is great, it does not change the fact, that the slow down is at develop.

You can be as nice as possible, promiseable, but if train still gets nowhere?

Good Luck Rudi for the future…..sorry to see you go

I have always found you very helpful and enthusiastic when there have been issues on Deezer. It must have been very frustrating at times when you probably new that you did not have all the answers to some of the very technical issues that have caused frustration with the Deezer punters over the years.

But that frustration lies in the hands of Deezer for not engaging and sometimes not appearing to listen to the ‘Punter’…..they certainly have there work cut out if the want to still remain a Player in the Streaming game.

Thanks for all your hard work Rudi!

All the very best.

Coypu.

If this is a joke, it’s a bad one. You were one of the reasons why I’d recommend deezer to anyone, the friendly community manager that treats you like a person and tries to understand you.

Anyway, sad to see you go, but wish you luck on the new place.
