Howdy,  was getting tired of how spotify has turned into YouTube, no matter what you’ve been listening to it keeps trying to show me/have me play the same tracks that I don’t want. I have used the “do not play anything from this artist” function more than any human ever should and it’d still pop up… it’s like if you watch just one video on YouTube about how to install a toilet seat and for the next year there’s always a toilet seat video in your recommended mix.   Anyhow, brought that up with a friend and he mentioned here. Haven’t moved my music playlists over yet but prob will do that this weekend.

So far no complaints, only question is more an aesthetic thing...is there something similar for the deezer windows app like https://spicetify.app/ for spotify? It lets you re-skin it anyway you want (and also unlocked a few hidden features of spotify like being able to permanently keep your music quality choices at high rather than have the app fluctuate it). I’m a paid member of deezer, I’m not looking for any account/privilege bypass, just being able to personalize how it looks. Not a biggie though.  Anyhow, I’m out in the PNW and am a big fan of all sorts of different types of music but typically fall back on the grateful dead or some JJ Cale/mark knopfler. Been on a trip hop kick lately though so i’m pretty open to new music. Any tips on how to get the most outta this place would be well appreciated.  Here’s some dog tax to help pay for the long rant:

Welcome to the Community @brentter
We don’t have an app or feature to personalise as you requested but feel free to suggest it on our Ideation forum: https://en.deezercommunity.com/ideas
I’ll let our superusers @Nina Nebo @FriskyProdigy @Noam Asulin @awesomemac and @GropplerZorn to guide you with the best tips to get the most our of Deezer.
Lovely dog by the way :)

Hi @brentter,

Welcome to the Deezer Community.

Nice introduction!

That YouTube thing sounds very familiar to me too. I think this is a downside of YT. When I searched for a Game of Thrones clip once, I was flooded with GoT clips. It's nice that YT shows you things that are similar, but you don't see new things. And yes, Spotify does give more of the same each time.

Did you know that you can easily transfer your playlists, albums and artists via Deezer/TuneMyMusic?

In your account settings:

Welcome, Kyle (@Lucidity)! Great to have you here on your streaming journey!

Sounds like Deezer is off to a good start for you—it's always nice when the app runs smoothly, and you find your music style well-covered.

If you ever would like to explore some unique playlists or have questions, we're here to help you make the most of your experience.

Enjoy the tunes, and good times ahead.

hi,

my name is Mehmet-55 from Turkiye.

my favourite music; rock, blues, country besides like listening all kind which feel me good to listen.. pop or classical, soul, swing from Caro Emerald etc.

well I am a bit old  🙂 so I have had stamp collection since I was 10 years old. Also I did paragliding, went rafting a few times. Married and have 3 sons.

Life is ok for now.

I have come to the community because of deezer-android auto issue and opened a topic. I write at forums in my country too to help people.

I usually listen to music in my car or with yamaha network player at home.

when deezer has made software changes, it had better make a survey if the new one is good or not.

have nice forum.

Hi Mehmet,

Welcome to the Deezer Community!

A stamp collection? Nice. I used to collect stamps when I was around 8-12 years old (now I’m 48). But did stop collecting, but still have them.

That sound like a great music taste that you have.

Well, we can always use new people helping others here.

And yes, I agree, a survey sounds like a plan for Deezer.

Merhaba ve hoş geldiniz, Mehmet @mdmrx

Yes, I saw you in the Android Auto thread. I hope the new update resolves the issue for you and you can enjoy deezer more in your car. Enjoy the forum, there are many good people here.

Hello there Kanguatjivi Berry from Namibia. Welcome to the deezer community and best of luck as you cast your wide net in search of a suitable bride.

This isn’t a dating site, though, so you might want to edit your post or risk having it deleted as spam.

Xiaomi is definitely a good brand if you are looking for a smart phone. They are good and not too expensive. I have an Oppo smart phone myself, but I have definitely looked at Xiaomi phones as well.

yes i have had my fair share of Xiaomi and Redmi devices, but now i own a samsung s23 ultra. the camera cannot be even compared to any current Xiaomi or Redmi devices lol. i do own a pair of Xiaomi Earbuds that are top level quality (better than the samnsung ones) and cost like half or a bit less than half than said samsung buds pro 3 lol.

For me, the camera is a little less important, but I get what you mean.
For me, a phone doesn't have to be expensive, so I won't be getting a Samsung S25 or an iPhone 15 Pro Max.
If I have such a phone, I'm just afraid that it will break and I'll be overly careful with it otherwise. That's why I think an Oppo or a Xiaomi have nice prices if you're looking for a budget phone.

s25 ultra sucks. if you can get a s23 ultra. same cameras as s24 ultra and the S pen has conectivity to use it like a smart pen vs the s25 ultra that they wont add a battery so its a chunk of plastic.
