Musicians...What do you do?

I play guitar and bass, left-handed, mostly (but not entirely) in church bands. I also lead singing when I have to, although I encourage everyone to sing loud enough to drown me out:yum:

But this isn’t about me. What do you play?

Or do you sing?

And do you do it by yourself by yourself, or in a band/orchestra/choir?

And what sort of music?

I can’t wait to hear…

I only play a bit of piano @Freezer so that is quite impressive!

Hold on, is that an Epiphone Les Paul there? Love the cherry sunburst colour - I was in love with that guitar as a teenager

Spot on, @Rudi The Les Paul is an Epi, and sounds way better than it has any right to (although too sweet sounding to mistake for a real LP). The best sounding is the heavily customised Strat. The most versatile is the Made-in-Mexico Telecaster with custom hand-wired pickups.

 that makes me dream of a stage and rock'n'roll, I love strings! Sweeth Child O'Mine comes to mind.

You must burn your fingers with those bad boys! @Freezer

We once had a rehearsal room:

Wow sweet line-up @bluezzbastardzz

Love the finish especially on the left LP. I had a desert burst Standard once - foolishly traded it for the 335

Here are two pictures done with a flashlight, so the maple top is shown with more details than in real life:

Stunning flame maple. I so need a real Les Paul again. The ES-335 is fabuluous for fingerstyle and traditional jazz/blues, but nothing like the “most versatile guitar in the world” that some fusion guys like Larry Carlton make it out to be.

This is not a “real” Les Paul, by the way, but a Tokai, the other three on the group pic as well.

Awesome guitars. The other guitar I should never have sold was an early eighties Tokai Strat. Better than my American standard Fender by a long way (just slightly underpowered electrics that these days I’d rip out and replace). The fastest maple neck I’ve ever played, and the most beautiful clean tone.

Yeah, the two Les Pauls on the right side belonged to my friend who has sold them in the meantime. He also owned an early 80s goldtop TokaiStrat once that he liked very much which got stolen out of his car.
