I am turning 30 next month.

Deezer Premium is as close as socks are to me.

And I can tell you one thing, I have no other friends. Why it might be better for you as well?

This day and age we shouldn’t spend on toxic relationships and draining friendships. You and I, we are standing in the cold, and I am asking why? I spent too much time of my life arguing with drama queens, waiting them to call, to explain what I didn’t even do. I waited them to keep the least touch with me. As someone who is empath, I do like people. Today, I like them from a distance.

Are you having one or no friends at all? How to be happy this way?

There may be also some personality factors such as feeling shy, anxious, or depressed that impact our ability to keep old friendships. In my case nothing like this is making my friending impossible.

I just can’t find people like me… and I’ve stopped trying. No questions asked.

Make a list of 5 activities that you enjoy.

Spend some time every day doing something that you love and makes you happy. For me these are walking, mountain biking, swimming, listening music & podcasts on Deezer and blogging. Needless to say when your phone is not ringing all the time, you can dive deeper into your hobbies.

Can you add a comment with yours? I am curious!

Don’t compare yourself with other people.

You may notice groups of friends joking, laughing, and having fun when you are walking alone listening Deezer Music. Social media can bring this too. Everyone else is having that fun… Instead of spending time comparing yourself with others, focus on ways you can be happy alone.

Avoid social media.

Now this is very important because on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram you can see well-curated facade. Everyone is picture perfect and life is amazing. Truth is far from that. Most people on social media are not happy and their relationship is about to die anytime. Stop wasting time here.

Personally I have deleted all of my social media accounts, my life never been happier.

Go on a date with yourself.

Why you are not dancing already, get a drink! Apple juice a day keeps your doctor away. Plan at least once a week a date with yourself. Go to a place and enjoy an activity that makes you feel good. You can for example go to a swimming pool and after that go eat some sushi alone. Never too weird!

Read a book in a small cafe traveling solo.

This is impossible to see nowadays. People are so afraid, that you get weird watches from others, if you are reading book alone in local cafe. People are afraid to travel solo! We have a problem, folks! You can’t change people, but you can change people! I did for Deezer, books and traveling solo.

Excercise. Most people never do.

Now I do know that having no friends, you can have much time to spend alone. Why not to move? Keep yourself moving listening Podcasts on Deezer. Discover nicest path in woods near your house. Keep running. Keep cycling. Go for a gym and make yourself so fit, that they will look at you!

Realise that friends are not making anyone happy.

Having friends or spouses is for most -- just an entertainment. If you are not happy with yourself, you easily can search happiness from other people. Most people do feel lonely alone, but new friend is another distraction, instead of solving the core of a problem you have. Use your time!

Find new hobby or thing to do.

Probably you have lots of routines. Cleaning, walking, running and going gym. Why not to go swimming if that’s something you never did in ages? Why not to try meditation? Try to watch ASMR videos on YouTube. Find something many people never do, and you realise that life is amazing.

Perhaps you can start a blog, and write your chest out? You are born free.

Volunteer.

You can simply volunteer to find conversation. Help here people with Deezer. Ask to translate your favourite app in Google Play Store. Giving, helping and caring makes us happy, and someone to receive doesn’t need to be your friend to feel joy. A lot of joy. Volunteer now for better tomorrow.

Turn the lights out.

Sometimes you need to see the dark in order to start living. See the bottom of your life, to see the highest high of it. Life has something to provide and good news are, that you do not need any friends, to grow big and content. We need more house and basics, than friends who talk behind us.

What now? Is there anything YOU can do?

All of the above, and probably much more. Keep thriving and living your best life when other friends are in a hurry to get hangover! Keep saving when other people are in a hurry to spend their money. Money is thrown away to impress people they don’t like grabbing stuff they don’t need. Period.

Now someone may ask what about Internet friends?

My honest opinion about them, you can not be friends on internet, unless you’ve seen them in real life -- and you see them often. Chances are you don’t have this kind of a Internet friends. The ones I’ve seen were long ago gone, because let’s face it. People have Internet friends for one reason.

They don’t have local friends and when option comes, you are last season for them.

Finding internet friend is easy, and it is even easier to throw them to the next waste bin.

What is your take on having friends and do you have any?

Do you think that Deezer can be your honest friend adding greatest value in your life?

Please have a look at my playlist on Deezer if you want some music.

In my profile you can find lots more to keep your life going.

Why do we need friends when there is so much of podcasts and music on Deezer alone?

Please, don’t let me start about endless nature or book collection in your nearest library!

Perhaps, this is why we don’t need friends.

An interesting perspective to have these days, @hpguru I really appreciate you sharing your list with the rest of our community, well done :thumbsup_tone2:

I guess some people rely a lot on their friends because of the support they may give, while others will understand your thoughts very easily. Like I said, interesting discussion, @Jaime. @Kevin Deezer care to share what you think?

As ironic as it sounds for a Community Manager, I really agree with @hpguru regarding social medias, I recently deleted my account and feel much great about it. Taking some time for yourself, far from the screen is definitely something I enjoy doing and I want to do more. Again, ironic as a Community Manager. Actually, my thoughts on all of this would be to just be yourself, and act as such, whether it is the activities you have, the people you hang around with. Just ask yourself what you really want to do   I’m sure @Rafael. will have some thoughts as well

Yes, feel free to try some of these tips.

Perhaps you can find something new you might like besides working hard at Deezer :) It is usable to live this way, you get used having no friends. Today I was traveling to the next commune from mine.

Afterwords I ate greatest sushi selection in the next city from my town.

Alone. Any of you can do this as well.

Eating on your own is a thing to celebrate!

That looks proper yummy @hpguru  hmmmmm…

And you're right, I can certainly use some of tips, like finding something new to do. Last week I started colouring on my tablet, and I found it therapeutic :thumbsup_tone2:

Thank you and if you go sushi, even if it is pricey in UK.

Please do not do these sushi eating mistakes. I avoid them myself to honour sushi makers in my favourite sushi place in my town or next city to my town. I’ve been in many unlimited sushi places.

This sushi maker made a lesson how to eat sushi.

“Don’t shake it. Only in the mens room.” you can hear only from sushi master 😂

Sometimes I talk to random people for hours.

You can be a loner, but still enjoy the casual talk with someone. I often use public transportation, as I have no car note, or car at all and listening Dee-1 rapper about No Car Note feels like good thing.

Right decision.

We have an awesome driver on our local bus line 1, and she is often driving it all day.

I mean this corona time you can not sit on first seats, but sometimes I do sit, and today she wanted to talk. Probably driving around with no one to talk gets indeed boring… and so it is for me.

Working from home etc. It hasn’t crossed my mind before, but this is how it is.

We talked about buses, minimalism, black friday and cyber monday, you really get 100% off if you do not buy ANYTHING! That’s the best deal you can get, always. Also we talked about Deezer Music.

It still feels like a good place to listen my favourite music.

Many many things we discussed, and she offered me her timetable for next day, but unfortunately I can not leave my house with 5PM bus, since I am going fridays with 3PM bus to a swimming pool.

My lesson of this life is this: try to find something. Everyday is the same, but this day wasn’t.

I ended up crying of happiness after Deezer played this song when I was in my home :)

Thank you for providing with meaningful music I enjoy. I feel for this music.

I can not say how much I do enjoy Deezer Music except if I am talking with that driver for hours…

I almost traveled that line twice today for no reason, but great conversation.

This corona time everyone needs to hear how are you and let’s ask everyone!

And about sushi, my nearest food store Prisma is renovated now, and they will open another sushi place here in my town. I need good lesson not to grab sushi instead of food I actually came for…

I mean sushi is amazing, but sometimes you just need food for living...

I like to talk to random people for hours too @hpguru hold on a sec...that's my job!

I think there's something very liberating in how you pass your time in your beautiful Finland.

You need to try jumping on a London bus, the 73 or the 159 for example. Do the whole journey listening to music on Deezer...amazing!

Another sushi place?! You're spoiled!

Are you saying London? I’de be lost and found righ away here.

Especially in this populated city and bus I’d probably stay in a hotel all day :D

You are right, music from Deezer can help navigating in London too.

When I was first time in Amsterdam city 2018-2019 it stressed me out.

So much people all the time I couldn’t get anywhere. Before I was in Copenhagen and was stressed out too because of people amount, but Amsterdam… it was 100 times more people.

At that time I used Google Music and it indeed helped to keep your stress at bay!

It's a great way to keep focused on one thing, isn't it? @hpguru Amsterdam is small and yes, packed with tourists. I always get an edge there when I visit, I love the city, but it can feel overwhelming yes.

London is the epitome of that, but funnily enough, I'm used to it.

On a separate note…

I'm planning an end of year event for Deezer Community users, via zoom, with a little quiz and a toast. I'd be glad if you could join us, is there something you'd be willing to do? No need to have the video on if you're feeling a bit shy (I can be shy sometimes...). If yes, please let me know a time and day that would suit you :relaxed:

You can recommend some days in PM.

I can join if you can get something of it. I have free time in the evenings.

What is needed to join this event? Opinions about communty year closure?

I am very new to Deezer, but you can try to bring these things.

Again I am mostly for the love of the hard dance music here.

And of course some sushi isn’t bad for a day to launch.
