Dears,

Today's version update (8.17.0.3) features a beautiful layout in Carplay. Great! However, the flow is still not working (it hasn't worked for months). The most serious thing is that "albums", "playlist" or "artists" tabs are showing the entire collection and not just what is available offline. My suggestion is to create a new tab that is exclusive for downloads or that only shows content available offline. This is extremely relevant for security reasons. In my case, I only use offline mode in the car and, after the update, I need to touch the phone to change an album, for example, since all the albums in my collection are displayed when I select the album tab. I love music but I need to be alive to listen to it.

Best.

A week and no reply.
Come on!  It a serious aspect of the app.
I am talking about safety of Deezer's user when driving a car. Deezer changed the layout but downgraded the user's safety. It is impossible to search for downloaded music and I don't wanna to use my mobile data to listen to music at CarPlay. If I need to change an album I need to look to the mobile. It makes no sense for me.

Updating: version 8.18.0 (8.18.0.2) and the problem remains the same.

Could you please give a feedback to beta testers?

I think two-way feedback is interesting.

Updating: version 8.19.0 (8.19.0.2) and the problem remains the same.

I still think two-way feedback is interesting or beta program makes no sense.

Hi @LFM,

Sorry for the delay and thank you for your feedback.

Normally playlists and albums are ordered so that the downloaded ones are on the top the list, they should show a “downloaded” icon right under the title to identify them. If this is not the case on your side, then it’s a bug.

We may consider to create a “Downloaded” section like the one we have in the Favorites tab on the iOS app.

About the Flow, we’ll have to investigate but I don’t think we received other reports of this issue. When launching the Flow from the iPhone, is it playing properly even after plugging the iPhone to the car with the CarPlay connection enabled?

Dear @GuillaumeDZ

Thanks for the reply.

In my case, downloaded playlist or albums are not on the top the list. They are ordered according to alphabetical list.

It would be great to have a “Downloaded” section liket he one we have in the Favorites tab on the iOS app.

Flow works from the iPhone even when CarPlay connection enabled,  but it doesn't work on the CarPlay screen.

Hi @GuillaumeDZ

I tested the new brand new 8.21.0 beta version. It is working so nice with the new layout and the "downloaded" section.

Congrats for Deezer's development team.

Have a nice sunday.
