Unable to use Deezer on my iPhone due to "multiple devices" error


Hey folks,

Let me start by saying that this issue started happening about 2 months ago with variable occurrence frequency. After number of attempts by support team to address this (unlinked FB account, reset account password, unlinked all devices), the issue still persists.

In fact, I have completely stopped using Deezer on all devices for at least 2 weeks. In last 2 days, I attempted to listen to music on my iPhone and after minute or so, the music stopped with dreaded message about Deezer being used on multiple device. While, in previous occasions this could well be truth (due to tab being left open at home PC), I am now 100% sure that this cannot be the case. In past two days, at any time, my iPhone was the only device to run Deezer.

Can you please help me resolve this issue?

Hi @j.perovic

try going to managed devices and unlinking everything, then changing your password (if there is any other device being used this would log them out and would need to log in with new password).

Hi Rob,

Thank you for providing steps for a way to fix this. I have just done what you've suggested and going to test it on my way home from work (in couple of hours).

I'll update the topic once I see whether this had any impact.
