Some songs don't play well on my phone

Lately there are some songs that don’t play well on my phone.
I can hear them perfectly on other devices, but on my phone they sound just odd (it sounds like a ruined CD, I don’t know how to explain it...)

I had this problem with three songs from The National’s album “Cherry Tree” (“Cherry Tree”, “About Today” and “A Reasonable Man”)

I really don’t know why and what to do! It’s not a problem related to my phone’s speakers, because I can hear everything else perfectly… I tried to log out, turn off my phone, but I still have this problem.

Hi @Irene Milani,

The song files store in the cache may be corrupted, you should redownload them. Here is how:

  • if the songs are in a downloaded playlist or album, turn the download switch off
  • then go to the app settings (Favorites tab, gear icon on the top left corner of the screen, App section)
  • select Empty Smart Cache

Hi there @Irene Milani

Thanks for reaching out. Is this happening on your iPhone? Have you tried reinstalling the app?
