Shuffle keeps bringing up songs I don’t have?

When I press shuffle play, (either for my downloaded songs or all songs,) it gives me songs that I added a while a go and then removed. I’ve checked thoroughly and they are not in any of my added playlists or downloaded playlists. The ‘don’t recommend this track’ feature does nothing to help either. How do I get rid of them?

Hi @falconer,

The tracks played when using “Shuffle my music” and “Shuffle Play” from the Downloaded section may come from the Smart Cache. These are tracks that you listened to at some point or you removed from the downloaded tracks. In general Smart Cache tracks are used when you don’t have many downloaded tracks.

To remove the tracks from the Smart Cache, go to the Settings page (Favorites tab, gear button in the top right corner of the screen), select App, scroll down and choose Empty Smart Cache.

Unfortunately I’ve tried emptying the smart cache before and had no luck, I did it again and it still does not get rid of the tracks I don’t want. However the slider under smart cache is all the way to the left on 63.99 - is this relevant?

It depends, you can clear it out and then increase it again.

I have the same problem on Deezer WEB
I expect to hear only my music but sometimes I can hear some trash.

Thanks for letting us know. Do you have 'automated recommendations' on? Check at the bottom of your queue list, on web. And let us know!

I did use the shuffle play option and was surprise to hear songs that I don't have on any of my playlists, but also while deezer was offline. What is the point to play shuffle on the downloaded section of the app if deezer is going to shove their moronic suggestions down our throats ( I am very disappointed that even for a second deezer  thought I would enjoy bad bunny), please just stop.
