All of a sudden, when my phone is locked my music from my Deezer account will stop playing. I’ve had deezer for a long time and this doesn’t usually happen. Can someone help?
Hi I’ve got the same issue. I open Deezer, start listening to a song and if the phone locks or if I open another app, the music fades away.
it didn’t happen to me before.
I’ve got an iPhone SE.

Hi there, what IOS and Deezer version do you use? Have you checked for updates? Also please make sure to enable Deezer running in the background.
It all started when I finished schl then I played my deezer the minute I turned my phone off the music stops
I have the same problem and I do not understand how to enable this deezer playing in the background

I don’t no why but soon as my phone locks or I go and check a message the music stops. Didn’t have the problem before. PLEASE HELP!

I was having trouble with listening to my music through my i phone as every time my phone went into sleep mode ( black screen) my music stopped which didn’t happen when I was on my free trial .
I spoke to an advisor and was told to delete the app and reinstall it which solved the problem, but make sure you have your login details as all your playlists and music will be saved to your account at Deezer, hope this helps
I had the same problem after change the save internal storage to external storage. Everytime I locked my phone the song stop. I had many tests like download playlist, online songs, etc... i had tried many things but nothing worked. I unistall the app, rollback to save in internal storage but doesn't work at all. What else can I do it?

That's quite odd. Have you tried reinstalling the app after rebooting the phone?

I found something that works for me. I have Huawei P9 Lite. 

So if the playback stops after pressing lock button I leave the phone locked and then unplug and plug back in my headphones and after that it usually works. (Sometimes I have to close the app and then lock the phone and unplug and plug back in the headphones, but it usually works without closing the app )

 

That being said, I would encourage the developers to tackle the issue because other than that the app works fine with some smaller bugs that are forgivable, but the playback issue is still not resolved after years. As I paying user I don’t want to do hacks to make an app work. I can’t believe that you guys screwed up so badly in the development of the app that you can’t fix this bug. It happens on Android as well as on iOS so it’s probably your fault. Maybe you should start making new app from ground up if you dug a hole too deep for your self to climb out of.

please check if there is any antivirus/cleaning app installed on your phone. Some examples of this type of program are - 360 Security / Safety - Clean Master “or - Smart Manager If so, please disable it. These programs are found within the “Settings” on your phone. All of these features and applications sometimes cause problems with AutoPlay of audios apps.

 

If that’s not the issue. Trying changing the configurations for Deezer notifications on your phone.

 

For that:

 

  • go to your phone settings
  • click on Deezer
  • click on notifications
  • disable the notifications

 

That should do the trick, but If doesn't work please let me know and we'll go from there!
