Music Stops - Multiple Devices Warning

Hi,

When I play music it stops saying i'm playing on another device. But I have only 1 connected device. I also reset my password.

But nothing helps.

Any help?

I just have the very same issue. Changed the password, logged out/logged in, but still stops my music like every 30 seconds.
Hi, I have the same issue, too... :(
It is unbeliveable that there is no offical answer from Deezer for such a hot topic...
I have found lots of similar threads...

Hi, I'm having this same issue. Have deleted and re-installed the app, changed my email address, removed devices from my account, removed apps from my account (what is the Chromecast account that keeps on appearing -is that normal, I don't use Chromecast at all?). It seems to be worse on the Main Profile, but I think it's happened on other profiles as well.

I have the same problem since a few days. I removed all connected devices, uninstalled deezer from these devices and changed my password. Could you please help me on this?

Ever since I updated Deezer I've been encountering problems with my music stopping at random points. I don't understand why. Please contact me to find a solution before I discontinue my premium membership. Soundcloud may have done a better job at keeping me satisfied.

Sorry that's happening. Could you please give us more details about the issue? Do you have an error message? In what device are you experiencing this?
HI I'm having the same issue. I'm on the family package and have check they are all in there own profile. But mine is the main account and it keeps stopping. This started yesterday.

I hope this can be resolved asap.

We're sorry for that. I've carried out some due maintenance on your account and sent a password reset email. Please change your password after reinstalling the app to the latest version and try to login without Google, for instance. Let me know if the issue persists 😉

Thank you for reporting it to us. Sorry that's happened. I've done the same as above so please check your inbox for a password reset email. Change the pass, reinstall the app to the latest version and login as normal. Let me know if the issue persists!

Strange thing, yesterday I noticed that I didn’t have the problem while using Deezer web through Firefox, neither through my Android app.

It seems that the problems were appearing only over the Chrome browser.

Thanks for sharing @Dbenkos. Just to be safe, I recommend you to clear cache and cookies on Chrome for that reason.

I think I might have the same problem. I only listen to Deezer on my phone, it’s not linked to any other device, but the notification appears regularly. And when it does it appears every 20 seconds.
Is there already a solution for this because of course I pay for Deezer, so it should work.

 

Note: I’ve Deezer Premium as part of my T-Mobile account

Firstly try logging out of Deezer, then restarting your phone, logging back into Deezer and see how you get on. :) 

 

@Rudi  thanks I will try that now and hopefully it works.

I am now getting the same issue. I dont have anyone else linked to my account and other devices are not being used. Driving me mad now..please sort. I have reset my password aswell

Since yesterday, 27 August, every few minutes, and always in the middle of a track I am listening to, the music in Deezer stops, and a Deezer message appears stating  ‘your Deezer account is currently being used on another device or page’. This is untrue. I only ever use Deezer desktop application for Mac. There are no other devices connected to my Deezer free account.

In my account’s ‘my connected devices’ section, I can even see for myself what I already know: no devices connected to my account.

In a failed attempt to rectify this problem, I cleared the Deezer cache. When that did not do anything, I then completely uninstalled and reinstalled the latest Deezer desktop for Mac. The problem still exists, and has now rendered Deezer unusable, for me.

 

Hoping somebody can help me out with this one, and thanks in advance.
