Hi @Rudi

Thank you for forwarding this again.

The connection stays okay after finishing an album, for now. But this used to happen just incidentally before, so I’ll message you when it happens again.

Exactly the same problem here with iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 14.4.2 and Deezer 8.39.0 (and Denon or Bose speakers). It’s been like that for a while with always up to date versions. It’s been even worst since I bought my new iPhone in March (iPhone 8 earlier).

Rebooting the iPhone always fixes temporarily the issue. It comes back few days later.

I’ve just found a « quicker » work-around.
When the music stops in locked screen mode, the following sequence fixes (at least temporarily) the issue:

1- unlock the screen (the music comes back)

2- stop the music on Deezer

3- open Apple Music and play any song

4- lock the screen (music won’t stop of course...)

5- unlock the screen and stop the song on Apple Music

6- kill Deezer App and open it again

7- play the music on Deezer (it sometimes requires to connect again to Airplay, but not always)

You can then lock your screen without stopping the music...

Hi @zaza2000

Thanks for your post, but to me it seems quite complicated how you are handling this issue. For me point 6 and 7 is enough to solve it (and by the way, I don’t have Apple Music to play a song, and why should I have it since I use Deezer? 😄).

Anyhow, the app seems stable for the moment. It only lost connection once since the (second) last update.

Hi, has the issue been resolved?

I’m deciding whether to continue the subscription.

@David Mayer Unfortunately the issue is still playing. But a reason for unsubscribing? Not for me. 😁

Hey @Mirokrijo @David Mayer are you currently using Deezer 8.48.1?
If not can you please update and let me know if the problem persists?

Thank you very much 🙂

Hi @Jaime.,

yes, I’m using then latest deezer update. Today the problem was still there. Only after restarting the app everything seems all right.

Hello @Mirokrijo

We are sorry to hear that.

Could you please perform these troubleshooting steps:

  • Open the Deezer app ➡ Gearwheel in the top right corner ➡ Storage & Cache ➡ Clear All
  • On the same page, under Smart Cache, slide the button towards the middle of the line.
  • Stream a few songs and navigate in the app

⚠ Your Downloaded music on Deezer will be deleted, but you can easily download your favourite playlists and albums from your Favourites.

If the issue continues,

  • Delete the Deezer app
  • Restart your iOS device
  • Download and install the Deezer app from AppStore
  • Stream a few songs and navigate in the app

Let us know how it goes, please.

Enjoy Deezer! :bulb:

Hi @Alfredo.

thank you for your help. After the first steps that you proposed, deleting the cache, there was no result. After that, I deleted and reinstalled the Deezer app (I think I did that many times before, last year). Of course, after that the connection stayed okay, but that is no surprise since closing and restarting the app uses to fix the problem as well, as I mentioned before. Now, I wait and see what the result will be. I’ll keep you informed! 😁

@Marko_H devs would like to know if this started after upgrading to iOS 15.0.2 or has always happened when you use Airplay?
Thanks :)
