Deezer mobile app not working through mobile internet - iPhone


Hi, please can you help. My Deezer app keeps saying ‘we couldn’t load this page. You are currently offline.’ every time I try to use it. I have full 4G connection. I have deleted it and reinstall the app but it is still not working. Please can you advise.

This type of issue is generally limited to a particular mobile network.

Can you share the name of your mobile phone operator?

Cant play Deezer through my mobile phone data but can listen to it through wifi been like it for a couple weeks mobile data is switched on to app I’ve deleted app and restore it but nothing helps 

Mines the same. Checked all the settings on the phone and the app, any ideas? Using an iPhone on EE

There is currently an issue reported by a few users on EE 4G network. It prevents Deezer and maybe other music streaming services from connecting in certain areas. It may be linked to the way they filter data from services included in their Music Data Pass.

We’re investigating on our side, but meanwhile you can contact EE support so that they are aware of the issue and of the amount of users impacted.

@GuillaumeDZ Ideal thanks, seen another post saying it works if you switch to 3G, that’s working for me. I work all over Devon and Cornwall and not had it working on 4G any of the places I’ve been so 3G it is for now. Will report to EE.

I can’t listen to music when on 4g I used to be able to can you explain how I can ?

We are still investigating on our side.

You should contact EE support directly anyway so that they have an idea of the amount of users impacted.

I have the same problem, iPhone on EE network. I have contacted EE and they’ve tried to suggest its a problem with settings on my phone, which it is not as this worked perfectly until about 2 weeks ago, and no settings have changed. 

Deezer do you have an update??

I found a possible solution provided by EE on its community website, could you try it and tell me if it solves your issue?

 

Log in to My EE app or website, then go to SettingsContent Lock, change it to Off and restart your iPhone.

If it is already Off, change it to Strict, restart your iPhone, then change it back to Off and restart your iPhone.

I can not use or login to Deezer unless I am on WiFi. I am on EE in the UK and no idea what is going on??

Hi, I’ve been having the same issue for months, yet can’t seem to be able to contact anyone to find out why?? I pay for this subscription to use in my car, but it won’t work unless on WiFi, which I never used to have any issues with my Deezer now it’s constant issues. I’ve deleted and reinstalled made sure my apps up to date, reset my phone nothing. Hoping they’ll see this am sort it out paying for something I can’t use is ridiculous...hope they get back to you also!!! 

I’m having the same issue. All iOS devices on the EE network. All updated to the latest version  (8.16.0). Deezer on all devices works on wifi, but doesn’t work on the EE mobile network.

Hi All, 

Recently got a BMW with CarPlay (wireless) and the Deezer app keeps giving me the “Oops” message about not being logged in. Works fine on WiFi and 4G but not when connected to CarPlay. Has this been tested using CarPlay wireless ?

I really don’t have the time for this, have more important things in my life….

The above solution does not work for me and I have the same issue still. Nothing on 4G but fine on WiFi. 

I have signed up for 3 months of tidal at £3 as this is not working!!

Hi @Dankeating,

As I said the issue is related to EE 4G network. You should contact EE support so they are kept informed of the number of users impacted.

While we’re investigating the issue you can switch your mobile network settings to 3G to be able to use Deezer on EE mobile network.
