Deezer is not working. Says unable to contact server. 408 issue. I have re installed Deezer but still no joy. I have had this problem for almost 2 weeks on and off. I pay for premium and considering cancelling. Can you help?

Hi @g0disadj @Jamie76 @Adam Armstrong,

I found a possible solution provided by EE on its community website, could you try it and tell me if it solves your issue?

Log in to My EE app or website, then go to Settings > Content Lock, change it to Off and restart your iPhone.

If it is already Off, change it to Strict, restart your iPhone, then change it back to Off and restart your iPhone.

Hi @Adam Armstrong,

Do you experience this issue with a particular type of connection? Can you check on different Wi-Fi networks and on mobile network?

If the issue is present only on mobile network, can you tell me what is the name of you mobile network operator?

Hi Guillaume @GuillaumeDZ ,

I have tried on WiFi and network. I think the main issue is network. My provider is EE.

kind regards,

Adam

@GuillaumeDZ I’m having the same issue on EE. Premium member and it’s saying this. I’ve tried to uninstall it and it won’t let me back!

@GuillaumeDZ Yep not loading any music - I’m trying via EE mobile 4G network on 2 different devices

Hey @g0disadj @Jamie76 @Adam Armstrong

Like @GuillaumeDZ said, it's a known issue affecting EE users. We'll keep you posted! Thank you for your feedback and patience :v_tone2:

Hi. I am having the same problems. I am also on EE. Bizarrely I just found that if I start playing something on WiFi it’s fine and then carries on playing if I turn WiFi off!  It’s not buffered music as I can select tracks from all over.
strange huh?

Hi @Awilsonlee,

The issue seems to be related to user session refresh, so I you open the app on Wi-Fi and then move to 4G, the app should continue to work as long as you don’t quit it.

We are still investigating on this issue
