Add album to a playlist from the artist page

There is a playlist that I use to keep track of artists/ albums/ tracks that I don’t want to forget about so that I can dedicate time to listen at a later time; perhaps I’m out, or hearing about an artist during a conversation, or reading about an artist online while already listening to something else. Often times I’ll end up on an artist’s page wanting to add certain albums (some, but not all - e.g. only studio albums, only re-issues or re-recordings, no EPs or LPs, etc.) and the process is currently a little painful, especially for artists that may have dozens of albums. I can either add the album to a queue and then add the entire queue to a playlist (which isn’t really an option if I’m already listening to something, for example), or if I happen to be using the web app I can open each album’s page in a new tab, select all the tracks and then add them them to the playlist.

I’d love it if in addition to “Listen next,” “Add to queue,” and “Add to my favourites” there was an “Add to playlist” action available to streamline this process at least, and ideally, also have the ability to select multiple albums from an artist’s page and add the selected albums as use the “Listen next,” “Add to queue,” “Add to my favourites,” or “Add to playlist” actions.

The album hamburger menu could look something like (current vs. proposed):

and the album select could look something like:

Hello @abc123 !

Thank you for sharing this great idea. Let’s get more votes on it! 💪🏽

Take care.

NewNot for now

Also worth noting that it’s currently possible to this in the mobile (Android) app by long-pressing an album.

Yes!  This, so much this.  For me, it’s mainly an issue of wanting to add a number of albums, in their entirety, to a playlist, and then just shuffling the playlist.  In short, just playing tracks randomly from the same 40-50 albums.  I run Deezer through my Alexa home speaker network, and I just want to have good music playing throughout the house all day.  Adding by-track to a playlist is only slightly less painful than giving birth to a flaming porcupine… sure it’s possible to do it, but I’d really rather not.
