Is there a way that I can assist in adding lyrics to certain albums?

I love Kristin Banks songs. Her work is bealtifull. But no lyrics to her songs. I found on the internet a site that have many lyrics to her songs. maby you can use it to add the lyrics , since we users can´t.

Hi @El Zakos sorry for the extremely late reply. At the moment this is not possible for legal reasons, but people are voting in this topic to make this happen 😉
I don't know if it is a good idea to mention another service that i use alongside Deezer on Android, but it picks up every song Deezer plays, however there are times when the lyrics are mismatched for both services. I feel like the better option would be to suggest an edit to the currently playing song on Deezer vs suggesting one to the other service as it could be for any random song not necessarily the version being played by Deezer.

It would be nice if you will allow to users add/update text of song. Bc I see a lot of text on Eng but cant find any text on Ukraine or Russian lang



So my idea is give opportunity to users add/ update text of song. If it will be a problem with a copyrights then show added/updated text only to user who add this text.



I believe it would be great feature.

Hey Longlong, lyrics are provided by an external company and depend on contracts with music providers. But there's an ongoing suggestion for making it possible for users to add/edit lyrics so I moved your suggestion here, join the conversation and vote for it to be implemented 🙂
i've noticed that many song haven't got lyrics so i wanna volunteer to be the one in charge for that matter cuz i as a user struggle A LOT

I thought of a suggesstion. Deezer can take interviews of users who are interested and then select a few and give a job to those specific people who let's say work few hours a week to add lyrics on the songs.

This way not all the users would not work at the same time and keep editing their fellow user's pre-uploaded lyrics and some worthy people would get a fun employment !

This feature would actually make Deezer stand out of all the music streaming services currently around. Make this happen please.
i know from the support team that the lyrics are made by a company that is not to be disclosed,ok but it's your app btw we as a comunity must be able to make suggestions and submit our own lyrics for songs that are not in english, i think that if a song is not in english it should be open to having lyrics added and other people editing that(and to be on deezers side it should be premium only)
Can custom lyrics be placed at least locally? It's a general thing for audio players to find lyrics locally. You chose pattern for lyrics matching, folder and it searches the lyrics in txt in files.
