Siri Control

Enabling Siri control would be great to work alongside CarPlay functionality - it would save controlling it via the touchscreen interface, keeping our eyes on the road.
I agree. To clarify, simple controls from iOS Siri interface (iOS native voice command) should be made possible. Out of the top of my head, useful commands could be;

  • “Start the flow on Deezer”
  • ”Play my favorite tracks on Deezer”
  • “Play most popular songs on Deezer”
  • etc...

I think the Sirikit allows developers to integrate such voice commands on their apps. Please Deezer, this will be a killer feature! Even the big competitor (non-native) app does not have this feature so if you do it, you will surpass them 😉
Hi there, this is indeed a great idea, but it does not only depend on us if we can implement this unfortunately.

We are happy to pass it on anyway 😉
Hi there, after speaking to our devs we can say that this is entirely up to Apple and we do not expect this to happen any time soon.

So I will change the status to "not implemented" for now. So sorry to disappoint, but there is nothing we can do at this stage 😕
Hey @Flo.Deezer ,

Since IOS 12 it is possible to integrate siri into third party apps like Deezer:

Can you reconsider changing the status of this ticket or have a dev explain why it's up to Apple to decide on this? I love Deezer but using Apple Music because of the siri integration.

"Hey Siri, Play music from the ninety's" :-)

(Another question: how far are you with google home integration?)
I wish, I can I give Siri a voice command “drive” and it plays in Deezer my favorite playlist In. Shuffle mode
That's already possible. https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/f8f1d08818534bbe9ab0b9f6182408c5

I've created a shortcut, you can use it with Siri. PLEASE don't forget to add a prefix deezer:// and suffix

?autoplay=true

(you need to do it 2 times)
Thankyou very much. Prefix Deezer and what is a autoplay true. Where do I have to fill in those?

thanx big time
this is my playlist I want to open.

Can auto shuffle and auto play it?
Ontdek "Favoriete nummers" van Aapje76 op Deezer

http://www.deezer.com/playlist/812717211
“deezer://www.deezer.com/playlist/812717211?autoplay=true”

Just copy and paste (2 times). When you run this shortcut, shuffle option isy opened.

Ahhh okay, wou this is great is works, thank you very much! I whas myself trying and trying but I didn’t get it working.

With your our help it works, thanx again!!!

when this is running and I want to make a next step in Shortcuts, and let deezer play on the background, which command can I use to go to the next step in shortcuts?

Without answers or news , I think I will say goodbye to deezer and sadly become an apple music fan 😞
Today was announced the beta version of Deezer, which the features are integrationn with Waze, Siri shortcuts and improvements.

If you don't want to wait, I've made my own shortcut:

Have a look - https://support.deezer.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360000640777-Siri-Shortcuts

Thanks for your idea, please keep them coming!
With iOS 13 it is possible for third party apps like deezer to integrate Siri control natively in apps. Will deezer support this on Launch of iOS 13?
Hi there @Nadine55555

I've asked our devs and it's basically too early to tell if this will be available at launch - closer to the time I'll try to get an update 😉 thanks for your query!
@Rudi are there any news? Now dev beta 3 is out and it’s about two months until iOS 13 will be released. Your devs should now work on this feature if they won’t be late.
Hi there @Nadine55555

No news about this so far, but thanks for prompting us. I believe at the moment our devs are finalising features which were already planned before iOS 13, including Dark Mode. We'll pass your feedback on 😉
@Rudi are there any news? It would be great to have the function
Hey there @r.johnny

Thank you for highlighting this. I had a chat with our devs about this last week, including Airplay and streaming HiFi - and it's been worked on. Once we've got more updates, we'll let you know 👍🏼
@Rudi Spotify using now Siri controls in their beta app. Apple opened the Sirikit framework for third party music apps. When Deezer will take advantage of this functionality?
Very soon, hopefully @Nadine55555 our devs confirmed we're working with Sirikit as well. We'll keep the community updated ;)

Thank you for your interest and support!
@Rudi I hope your devs working fast and hard on this. Because Spotify launched today the support for SiriKit to their public version and in addition an AppleTV app.

Can you us when the new Deezer App with SiriKit should launch?
Hi there @Nadine55555

Thank you for your support. We've spoken to our devs about this - they won't be developing an Apple TV app at the moment. But they're working hard on SiriKit for a while, so we hope to have more updates on this by the end of this year. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
