Show featured artists on song title - Android

So I just recently realized that if you open any album, the song title doesn't include the featured artist in it.

Example:

In Justin Timberlake's album Man of the Woods, it only says 'Morning Light' but on Apple Music or Spotify it's 'Morning Light (feat. Alicia Keys)'.

In Chris Brown's album, it's only 'Superhuman' when it's supposed to be 'Superhuman (feat. Keri Hilson)'.

I mean it's really stupid and not fair for the featured artist not to be mentioned.

You know what's even dumber? In Singles, everything is normal, the Artist is mentioned in the song title (ex: Finesse (Remix) [feat. Cardi B]), but in Albums, it's just the Album artist!

Come on Deezer, please fix this issue, it's just stupid and disrespectful to the featured artists/musicians.

Thank you for your feedback @brian.kanyotu @bobbydigione 👍🏼
I agree, I really don't understand this practice. I'll be listening to a song, I recognize voices and discover while listening that it has a featuring because it's not written, or not always. I don't get it!
I totally agree with you
Why dezzer doesn't write artists name that they featured in songs?

Ex:

In Dezzer : I Don't care

In Spotify: I Don't care (feat. Justine bieber)

Please write all the artists names in the title

It's necessary for people to know who are they listening

Thank you
Hi there @Nightscaif @Teika @Amir mostafa Khalili

Thank you for the feedback. Please vote for the idea above 😉
Crazy that this isn't an obvious issue to fix immediately. Love deezer overall but this is one thing that could force me to switch. As an artist myself, at the very least show the artists involved on the song. Ridiculous.
Hi there @Matalo

Thank you for your honest feedback. We're working on this, so please bear with us a bit longer, if you can.

Just to let you know that we're working on it and hopefully it will be improved in the next few months!

Totally agree !

@Rafael. any chances to get this implemented in this year (2019)?

Hi there @Fabio10

We're still working on this but it's a bit delayed - might not be ready in time this year. We'll be keeping this topic updated as the Product Team checks this for feedback :thumbsup_tone2:

Yeah this is really annoying truth be told.

Thank you for your patience @Nxeeberious. I'll be passing the feedback to our devs on this, this is a feature likely to be completed during the beginning of this year. Stay tuned!

Hi everyone,

Good news! Our developers have confirmed that our mobile apps will introduce this soon. The feature is already being tested both on iOS and Android. Another idea from our community becoming a reality! :smirk:

On iOS? But the featured artists name are already shown on the iOS version, I didn't understand. Or will you force the name in the title song (changing all the titles of songs with featured artists)?

I though all the artists names would be shown in the artist field (where is displayed the main artist, separated by comma, like the iOS version)

You're right, @Fabio10. On iOS, tracks show featured artists like that. But very soon, both Android and iOS apps will have more space underneath the title track, with more info about artists and the album. So it's a big jump for Android, and more of an enhancement for iOS. Thanks for being clued-on

Hello,

Guys, I installed the beta version of the app (6.1.21) and I have a suggestion to do.

In the album screen, if the album is by "Various Artists", is better to show all the artists instead only the featured artists (change the word "feat." by the main artist of the track, and show ALL THE ARTISTS FOR ALL TRACKS).
If the album is by an artist (not "Various Artists"), it's ok the word "feat.", but I prefer the main artist.

Guys, please, don't forget to add the featured artists in others screens (player, mini player, playlist, track search, track menu, queue, artist's top tracks)
The only place I wouldn't add it is the notification player because of the scrobbler apps (like pano scrobbler) whom uses the notification to get info (artist, track, album) to scrobble to last fm, I don't know if you change the notification player, if the app will start to scrobble wrongly

I made some screenshots, so you can see what I'm talking about

Hi @Fabio10

Thanks a lot for giving us feedback on a newly-improved version of the feature - it's all we need to move further :thumbsup_tone2: the screenshots help too

Any updates?

Our app had several updates since @Fabio10 - in what version can't you see the featured artists? Thank you for your support!

I’m using the last stable version (Android → 6.2.3.96)

Currently, this info is only available inside the album, but it should be available in everywhere (search, player, miniplayer, playlist...)

For example, when I look for a track, to see the featured artist, I need to open the track’s album and look for the track inside the album tracklist.

I've passed your comments on to the Android teams @Fabio10 - I get that you'd prefer the info to be displayed everywhere basically. I've specified my report in that sense, to see if they can consider the possibility and what work needs to be done - thank you for your input :thumbsup_tone2:

Still an issue on andriod version 6.2.40.55
