Now if you go to downloaded music there is a Search field above all the playlists you have downloaded. But here you can only search for the name of the playlist.
It would be great if there was possible to search for the musics inside the playlists

I want to reply to this old thread because the TO describes my problem best and I'm not satisfied with your answer.
I am aware that I can search in the App (android, V. 6.0.9.106) for songs when I'm viewing the playlist. But I have a lot of downloaded playlists and I often don't remember, where exactly the song is. So I have to go into everey single playlist and type my search string again (it's not persistent, that's another point).
It would be great to have the opportunity to find all songs in all playlists when I'm in playlist- view (or search in all albums, when in album- list) matching my search criteria. I understand, this can be a performance issue, because the matches-list is live updated while typing and going through all playlists makes it heavier. But what, if the live updated list shows all matches in playlist names and when the Lens-Button on the keyboard is pressed, the search is continued with matches inside the playlists. This makes it sure that the search criteria isn't changed anymore now it's only one run through all the playlists.
I would love to have this feature.

We like your suggestion! When our devs look into our search (which is consistently getting improved) they'll see this option of yours. Yes, it could have an impact on performance but they'll assess if it's worth it. Keep the votes coming! 😉
