Master account controls explicit content for their profiles with no switching capability

I have four children (boys) that range from 16 to 3. They all love music, but the temptation to listen to explicit music is one that is hard to manage. I joined the family plan hoping we can control and educate our kids so they can make strong and positive choices with music streams.

Deezer offers the best "gating" capacity than any other service. However it falls short when allowing profiles to switch to other profiles, and even change their own explicit settings. So now my 12 year old can easily switch to listen to some pretty perverse lyrics.

I'm proposing Deezer do 2 things:

  1. Allow for individual logins (because my 16 year will eventually move out and I'm sure he will want his own account)
  2. Allow for the master to control the explicit settings and pass down to other accounts.

Thank you.
Hi there, thanks for your suggestions!

About the first one, many people are asking the same and we'll keep passing this on to the right team! Hopefully it will be implemented soon! Please vote for this idea here!

About the second idea, we already have kids profiles and also a way to block explicit content. :)

As you added 2 ideas in only one topic I won't be able to merge this on to another topic, therefore I marked this ideas as not implemented. Please join the other topics to get an updated as soon as it gets implemented! 😉

We're pleased to tell everyone that this feature has been added to our Deezer Family subscriptions!

You can now control, via the main profile, the explicit content filter for other members of your Deezer Family. For more info, please drop me a message and I'll be happy to help :grinning:

The following idea has been merged into this idea:

All the votes have been transferred into this idea.

@Rafael. , @Rudi , @Jaime. Existing feature is totally NOT the same what people are requesting!

With current implementation a child is able to switch FROM kids profile TO parent’s one without any authorization!!! As well as turn off the block.

Please! Stop pointing to the useless features and try to understand what parents are requesting.
