Like/Favorite/Heart button on lock screen - Deezer mobile app

Please add the ability to mark songs that you liked or did not like in the curtain. It would be just great and would be appreciated by many users of your application!

Constantly getting the phone and going inside the application brings a lot of inconvenience.

Our developers have informed us there's a discussion around this part of the app - we're considering the development of a like/favourite button for the lock screen, in the future. For more updates and details, please subscribe to this topic :relaxed:

Seems to be already in prod? I see it on my lock screen in a sandwich/burger menu

Spotify has Like/Favorite/Heart button on lock screen.

I moved from Deezer to Spotify.

That is my music.

Hello! It's a pity that long time passes and nothing has been done. Is there really a problem to add this little thing?

Hi @Rudi

I really like the Deezer with all it’s small quirks previously mentioned in this thread, e.g. here:

I came to Deezer from Google Play Music, I really like Deezer over Play Music. Deezer is slick and fast, reliable and never hangs, however I miss some of the stuff I got when I had Play Music.

To name a few:

1- Whenever I'm on the flow, I want to heart a music on the lock screen (or even from the widget), right now I need to unlock my phone, open the app, and then heart the music, when I'm commuting, I want to have the minimum time possible looking at my phone since it's the only time I have to chill and just listen to music.

2 - The widget is so small and cannot be resized. My home screen grid is 5X1 and the maximum width for the widget is 4x1. Play Music had a resizable widget that, whatever the size of the widget, more information was showed or removed from the widget, it was all custom and nice. Ah, also it would be good to have that same heart option on the widget, it doesn't have any today.

3 - The home screen widget barely works, when there's no music playing, the expected behavior for it to do when pressed is either: 1: Open the app or 2: Pick the last music it was playing and start playing it. Right now it does nothing, it only asks to open the app, if I want to skip a music through the widget, it doesn't do anything. So the widget is barely useless and needs polishing and care.

That's it for now, sorry about the long post and I hope someone from the dev team reads my suggestions and considers them.

Thanks a lot and keep it up with this great app. 😉

The button has been been requestet about 5 yrs ago.
Just wondering why it is so hard to implement a button. The cool kids seem to have it :-)

Keep it up and thank you!

Estaría genial que la implementaran próximamente. Es un poco molesto tener que estar yendo a la app más veces de la cuenta.

Voto a favor.

😊

Please add this functionality - its probably the thing i miss most about when i was a spotify subscriber.  I often listen to mixes that contain new tracks i have not heard, and to be able to quickly and easily add them to my liked list (particularly when i am driving) would a hugely beneficial feature!

It would be better to add such a simple and at the same time necessary function!

Found a solution:

Goodbye Deezer,

Hello Spotify ♥️

It has been 5 entire YEARS, and NOTHING has been done about this tiny yet extremely important feature? Does Deezer give a single damn about it's paying customers? Tidal has already moved their Hi-Res audio into FLAC and their family pricing is lower than Deezer's for a higher quality service. Do you want to lose your customers due to your own incompetence? We are ignored on multiple issues while you add pointless playlists and focus on trivial bullshit.

Any update on this?

@Daan Borrias I don’t have any update or ETA for this.
Apologies for the inconvenience
