When listening to the Flow or to someone else's playlist, I'd like to see if the song is already in one of my own playlist (for example by clicking on the "..." button).
Would also be nice to know if it is part of one of my favourite albums (for example by displaying a "heart" close to the name of the album)
Indicator that a song is already on my playlist
Enter your username or e-mail address. We'll send you an e-mail with instructions to reset your password.
I'd think it would have just 1 icon, but if you hover it would tell you where it already is in your library.
Indicator in player page and why not on the favorites songs.
Why this idea :
I don't know if this track is on my playlist?
Thanks.

I live to create playlist for each genre with my favorite tracks, and knowing which track is already on a playlist helps A LOT.
You could also allow us to filter favorite tracks by genre, but that's another idead topic.
Thank you.
We already have a little notification when a user adds a song to a playlist and the song is already in it, but we are not planning to improve this notification at the moment.

Hi
IMO, we don't need to improve the notification, but to add some sort of icon that a particular track is already part of a playlist. For instance, in the print screen below the track “he needs me” belongs to a playlist, but there is no indication/icon of that (in fact, the menu says “add to playlist...”):
Thanks.
I agree that this is something really needed as I find adding songs to lists that already have it. This should not happen but it is. I don’t know why, in some cases I found exactly the same song in the same list.
Hello@casaresjm , could it be that the two tracks, although being the same, do not come from exactly the same album? For example it happens that an album exists in two versions on Deezer, for example the standard edition and the deluxe one, or the censored and explicit ones.
Cheers
Thank you Kevin, but it wasn’t the case as while being the same album name I also clicked on it and I was sent to the same one, unless they have the same art, songs and date of release. Yes, it was strange. If I found another one I will document it here.
Please do@casaresjm as all tracks, even though almost identical, have a completely different ID on the system, and that's why they might not get picked up
Hey@Rudi ,
What with this case?
I can’t remember how many times I tried to add multiple times the same track to my playlists because I didn’t know that I added it before. Such information would save time a lot!
Something like ‘you have this track on x playlists’ or even directly - the list of playlists where this track already exists.
Hey@nikipedia
There's a pop-up message that appears when you try to add a track already on your playlists. In which app are you listening to Deezer on?
Even if song has different versions, Deezer should tell us which are already added.

We are not actually asking to improve that notification, we want an option where we can see which of our playlist already have the song playing. I think this could be achieved by:
We really need something like this, i think no other streaming music plataform have something similar, it would be atractive to musice lovers.
I personally agree with you@nemterest , thank you for explaining in detail.
I covered this feature with one of our product managers a few weeks ago, on improvements that are very much sought by our community users. So it looks promising now, let's see which new features will be added to development in the near future. I know there are some new things on playlists under development right now, especially collaborative options
