Have Deezer as playback option in Last.fm

This idea is about using Deezer as the playback source for Last.fm content besides YouTube and Spotify, e.g. playing your favorite Last.fm radio stations like Mix, Library or Recommendations in Deezer with HiFi sound.

Deezer has an API, Last.fm also has one, so theoretically it should be possible. For example Mentor.fm already uses Deezer as playback source for its own radio algorithm.

I am not sure I understand what your suggestion is in this can you explain in more detail? I am curious to hear more !
Besides other content, Last.fm provides personalised radio stations based on your listening history like Library, Mix and Recommendations which use either YouTube videos or Spotify audio tracks as playback source. So it would be interesting to use Deezer as a playback source for those users who cannot choose Spotify when they live in a country where it is not available.



MusHub is a first step for them, although it does not support Last.fm's personalised radios yet, see https://mushub.net/about for a list of currently supported track lists on Last.fm. A full support probably would have to be realised in a cooperation between Last.fm and Deezer though.
@bluezzbastardzz am I right that you mean using Deezer as a source to playback songs that you have in your last.fm library? Because we do act a source for last.fm in order to have your songs you listen to in last.fm, but you are right you cannot play them back using Deezer. Is that what you mean?
Yes, adding Deezer as an official third playback source on Last.fm would be nice. At the moment Deezer only supports scrobbling to Last.fm which is something else, i.e. sending the info about listened songs on Deezer to your Last.fm profile.

This however might be up to Last.fm rather than Deezer.
