Just got a Google Home Max and I was so excited to play my favourite Deezer playlists just by asking until I realise Google Home is not supported by Deezer in switzerland. I have seen this subject has been around For a while now in different countries. What is the timeline to get this up and working in Switzerland?

Why do you not support this function in every country?
I'm sorry that felt misleading. The device itself is compatible but at the moment we're engaging with Google to expand our integration to more countries. It's a working-in-progress situation. I'll be updating each Google Home topic once there's any update.
I purchased the device to use with Deezer, (based on the features listed by Digitec). The value of the device is severely limited if the product is compatible, but not supported in the country where I purchased it and are using it. Further, this thread has been open for five months, and the best you can say is its work in progress.
In short, your post tells me nothing and I'm there failing to understand the point of the reply
Note: I understand Digitec have the responsibility to correctly describe the products they sell.
Thanks for expanding on your reply. Could you please give us an idea of what had Digitec advertised (ie poster, ad, screenshot) when you purchased the device? I can arrange for feedback to be passed to the right team here.

I would be more interested to understand what Deezer are doing to provide support in Switzerland, and when that functionality might be available

In relation to Switzerland, there's no estimate of when that will be available, unfortunately. But I'm monitoring all similar topics in the community so if there's any news about expansion, I'll update this quickly - as mentioned above.

The topic/thread of Deezer not working on google home has been open for 5 months. I'm also monitoring the community.
Perhaps instead of you monitoring the community, you could instead reach out to the product manager responsible to obtain an estimated timeline. Unless you're able to provide an indication, I'm likely to consider switching back to Spotify (which does work), which I think we both agree would be a shame.
I would have assumed it would be important for Deezer to keep up with its competitors

As community managers, we frequently reach out to our product managers and devs. But unfortunately when it comes to partnerships it's hard to give an estimate because things may vary quite quickly.
All I can say is that I'm hopeful we'll have some nice updates about Google Home in the next few months. We're not turning a blind eye to this at all, and we agree with our users that we should be available where the device is available. At the end of the day, it also generates us income, so there's no reason to be against it.
And to you I can say a big thank you for reporting to us and being patient, as best as you can.

Does google has no priority on it or are there some extra requirements deezer has to fulfill to be able to serve in switzerland?
If you do not explain, ppl will just leave. Voice commands are important today.

Thank you for your support. Our product managers have recently informed us that our integration with Google Home in more countries doesn’t depend on us, but on Google themselves. We’ve been working hard for the past couple of years to improve this, but ultimately it is down to Google to choose which global partners to have on their devices. Thank you for your understanding on this.
Well I see this thread is now 4 years open and it still doesn’t work. So for me the case is clear I will switch to Spotify… a little disappointing as I have to create new playlist and everything but a new start is sometimes something good too.
Me too, will be making the switch over the Xmas break, under investment in tech, no response to cust support messages, enough !!
