Create/save queue list to playlist on Deezer mobile app

Sometimes I add a lot of songs from different artists but I can't easily create a playlist based on that.

Sometimes I wanna hear through all albums or most of them from a particular artist and I don't want to manually add all albums again if I want to listen to this collection of songs again.

If the only way to create a playlist is adding manually albums or tracks someone needs to start doing it intentionally.

Creating a playlist based on queue simplifies a lot the process of creating playlists, and makes it possible even if i just started listening to something and I liked the result.

I understand that this is an important creative part of Deezer and integrates the community. So please improve the way we create playlists!
Hi there, this is a great suggestion!

While we are happy to forward this you could also add the songs to a new playlist while you add them to the queue, but I understand how you describe it would make things easier.

Make more users vote for this to get more attention 😉
The fact you had to ask for this really shows how poor the planning within Deezer really is. There are so many features that should have been in the release version that aren't. It's ridiculous!
It would be great if one could save the queue as a playlist.
I agree, it would be really great to save the queue as a playlist. I currently have 119 songs in my queue. It would take forever to save each one to the playlist. Please do it. The sooner the better.

Couldn’t agree more! I built an awesome queue and was real bummed to see I couldn’t save it, so I just abandoned it. Sonos has this ability from queue, check it out for inspiration 🙂.
I just Googled this to find out how to do it - surprised it’s not an actual feature! Please add it Deezer! To the app especially!
Sad that this requires votes to get on the agenda. Someone should have considered it and made it happen already.
Hey there @ScooterDe

This feature is actually available on Desktop App and Web. We're working on our mobile version. Thank you for all your patience 🤓
This has been a standard simple one click in the Sonos app for years. It is needed in Deezer.

Just to say this is still something that people want. There are multiple times that I have created a massive queue, and I wish I could then save the queue as a playlist. Sometimes I even shuffle a bunch of albums, and the play order is just so sweet, I wish I could save it but there’s no way to save the shuffled order as a playlist in it’s own right. Having the option of saving your queue as playlist would work a treat

You can on web and desktop app@SeanKent. Thank you very much for your support and feedback 😉

My fellow Americans:

Today, is a sad, sad day, because I've been trying to get that 𝕊𝕒𝕧𝕖 𝕢𝕦𝕖𝕦𝕖 button for you, a beautiful, actually, the best 𝕊𝕒𝕧𝕖 𝕢𝕦𝕖𝕦𝕖 button you have ever used, the likes of which is unlikely you have even seen, let alone laid your little fingers on; oh, yeah, you've got little fingers, too, right? Right?! That's right…

You guys know why to this day you haven't gotten it? My opponents are holding it hostage, for their own agenda, they don't care about you! They only care about destroying your listening experience. But we're not gonna let them, are we? They don't know you have a secret weapon. They don't know you have me, the chosen one, I alone can fix it! They don't know what they're in for! They don't know…

We need to get out there and vote, when the time comes, vote with our ears for a platform that cares about us, yes, we have to, I'm telling you, we have to; we need to show them, that they won't succeed in preventing us from making our musical experience great again.

This has been going on for far too long! Well, not no more. Hail to me if you agree, don't forget how awesome I am. I'm good looking and very, very smart.

I'm sorry @culiacanazo but I can't avoid to laugh at your reply, it's very very humorous  I was reading it and it felt like I was on a Die Hard movie

On a serious note, this just needs a bit more time to get into the pipeline. But if we need help, we're sure to get in touch with you. Thank you for your strong support and honest words!

Seriously guys. I just requested this feature without realizing that someone has already done it more than a year ago. We don't want lame excuses. Make it happen if your community asks about it, or you just care about their money flowing in ?

There won't be any if you ignore us. I'm a senior developer and a feature like that won't take me 15 mins to add. Either do it or make deezer open source and we'll do it ourselves.

Thanks

Appreciate the honesty @sadok_1912

Improvements to the queue and long-standing feature requests like this are also being taken into consideration at the moment - we're trying to fit some on the plans. Thank you for your support :thumbsup_tone2:

Continuing the support for this feature. Signed up to the community just to post this.

Hey, guys, howdy?

2 years ago I was a little bit shocked when I read this answer:

“This is a great idea! (...) Make more users vote for this to get more attention”

Well, well, well, Deezer! Someone who works for this music service thinks a suggestion is a good idea but still I must rally people to convince someone that it is a good idea? We are in 2021 but still all that matters is numbers?

3 years for that small feature? Seriously? This is so basic. It is a minimal addition to the UI, just add a small menu button to the top of the queue list.

Very disappointed. As a software developer I wonder how messy your code must be if this is not a super simple thing to implement.

I am with you guys. Please, make this feature happened.  It is especially absent when the application crashes, which happens significantly more than it should.

I came here with the same question and think this would be a really great addition.

As a sorta workaround I did find that you can press and hold each song, one by one, and select “Add to [enter last playlist name here]”. The last playlist you added a song to will be the playlist so if you are doing a bunch at one time you can just go down through the list adding each to the same playlist. On my phone the add to specific playlist option was at the bottom of the screen so it was only a couple of taps per song but on other phones you might need to scroll too.

I hope it saves some people time at least.

There is a simple workaround! Open the web app which shows the same queue and the click Add to Playlist

Years pass, topics get merged into each other,  nothing happens. Wow. The cheat is to go to desktop app, have the queue sync and then save it. But why can't we just get a button to save queue on mobile?
