Hello everyone,

Today we are launching our new standalone app, Radio by Deezer, which will allow you to listen to your favorite radio stations in one place 🙌.

Radio fans in the UK simply need to download the Android app for free to choose from a wide selection of stations that include Absolute Radio, talkSport, BBC Radio, Classic FM, Kiss Network. ‘Radio By Deezer’ users can also browse global stations outside of the UK or according to their current location. All stations are found on the homepage and are easily discoverable and categorised by music genre, 'Recently Played' and 'Most Played'.

The iOS version is due soon. You can read the announcement on MusicWeek's website. You can also check out our support page for more info and links to download.

is there a way for family profiles to be able to use this? 😞

@Rob Igo based on the support page you don't necessarily need an account to use the app, only if you want to save songs to your Deezer library. They don't specify if family accounts aren't supported, I'll have to ask around to make sure 😉.

I think this is a great idea to boost Deezer's brand recognition. Still a place for radio. Nice to have it linked back to the Deezer app.

I read several of the news articles on this. One user commented:
"Nice to see them giving TuneIn a run for their money. Now only if they would accept Internet Radio stations, they would blow TuneIn away."
