I hope you are doing good. My name is Michal Jhon, and I am a professor at DLC. I am also a lawyer by profession and delivering a lecture to law students. Due to this pandemic problem, we are unable to held physical classes. I recorded my lectures in Mp3 format, made a whats app group of students, and sent them there. Unfortunately, many students can’t join the group because only 257 persons are allowed in a group. One of my students told me that I could upload these lectures on Deezer, and everyone could access it. Kindly guide me about it that how can I upload lecture here? Should I buy a premium subscriptions or I can do it with a free account?

Hey @Michal Jhon

Uploaded mp3 files can only be heard by you. Sharing with others is not possible within Deezer.

Where does the limit of 257 group members come from, WhatsApp? Anyhow, as Dirk already mentioned, Deezer’s MP3 uploads are private due to copyright reasons.

SoundCloud may be an alternative for free MP3 uploads, I am not sure if they have a max. limit for listeners there, only for your max. uploaded time (180min.). But you could pay for a Pro account which will raise or remove any limit if it exists at all:

Another possibility is YouTube, you can upload MP3 files and combine them with any image in their internal tool for video creation. If you have a real live video of your lectures, it would be even better of course.

The YouTube idea sounds great!!

@Michal Jhon To add MP3s to your Deezer account just follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to (from a computer)
  2. Click on Favorites Heart_Edited.png
  3. Click the More Down_pointing_triangle.jpg tab (ignore this step if you are using a large screen)
  4. Got to My MP3s Select_MPs_EN.png
  5. Click Select MP3s and find the music on your computer to upload

Enjoy Deezer!! :loud_sound:
