You don't have access to the folder itself. That's intended to make sure the files will not be moved and therefore cause problem with the licences

It's not saved on Window folder . You have access to the download files from Deezer app only .

HI @Fernando.Rueda

if you are using the windows 10 app and click on setting, app settings you can see how much is downloaded and also being used by the smart cache on your machine . If you feel it's too much disk space you can simply click "Clear All" :)

Hope this also helps.

I am trying to change the download folder for the Deezer App on Windows 10. I am using a Microsoft Surface Pro and therefore I want to keep my downloads on the SD card instead of Drive C

I have tried to move the app location but Windows does not allow it and also checked all the settings in the App but was not able to find this specific setting.

Thanks for all the help in advance

Well , you probably won't be able to do that due to copyright reasons . The downloaded songs are playable only from Deezer 's app so if it saves the songs there , I don't think you can change it . However , maybe if you try to reinstall the app directly on the SD card (No idea if it's possible ) it might save the songs on the SD , just an idea . Just know that reinstall the app will delete all the downloaded songs .

Hi @Ashzeitoun, you are able to store deezer downloads on the sd card but you need to change the location in the app settings in Deezer directly. If that's not possible, it could be that Deezer doesn't recognise the sd card. Have you tried another card?
Thanks everyone for the help

Well now it is working. It seems I was not able to install the app on the SD card due to the Disk format bot being NTFS. I formatted the SD card and changed disk type to NTFS so now I am able to install the app and have my downloads on the SD card
When I download music from my mobile app to listen to offline, where is it stored on my Android phone?

Hi guys, I have a question. How can I change the download location on Deezer for PC? It downloads files to "C" disc instead of the "D"disc, and I want to make them downloaded to "D" disc. Is that possible?

Hi @Uzéyr_89 that is not possible at the moment because for security reasons the downloaded songs can't just be moved around. But is the Deezer app installed on disc C too? I'm thinking maybe if you installed it on the disc where you want the songs to be saved it would solve the issue? But I'm just guessing here. Let me know if that works 😉
Oh, thanks for your helping...
How can I change the destination of Windows Deezer App? I don't have a lot of disk space on default disk.

Hi there, you can't change the location after you've already installed and used Deezer on your PC as this would most likely cause problems with the files due to our licences. But you can check here to find out how to the change the default app location for Windows 10 in general. If you then delete Deezer completely and download it again, it should work :)

Hello. If you all don't mind me asking is there a folder on your phone when you download a particular album?

Nope, due to the nature of our service, all the downloaded songs are store within Deezer itself, so it's not possible to access them on a folder or transfer to another device, etc. And they will only be available for offline listening while your subscription is active 🙂

It would be great to maintain the app install location on the phone but have downloads saved to the sd-card (saving space whilst maintaining app speed, easy reinstall of the app, ...)

Hi @fms

if you're using an android phone with an SD card you can already do this? Once you've installed the Deezer app on your phone, under settings choose "app settings" and there you will see under "Disk Usage" the option to "change storage"

🙂 I hope that helps, let us all know how you get on! 🙂
when I download my songs can I save them to my SD or device?

when I download my songs can I save them to my SD or device? Yes, you can save them to the SD, just choose that option on the app settings but keep in mind the songs are only available within Deezer, you won't be able to move the files 🙂
Where do my songs download to? I can't find them on my computer.

Please see above 😉
%SYSTEMDRIVE%\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Packages\Deezer.*\LocalCache\Roaming\deezer-desktop\IndexedDB\file__0.indexeddb.leveldb\*.ldb

They are encrypted.

@AB4 yes, they are - due to music licensing rights

AHa, that’s great, just awesome, until you’ll see that censored above your favourite song name

that’s funny when you pay for the subscription with HQ audio, but can’t combine it with a family subscription, can't move files, and as the result can't listen to all the music. that's thing is completely useless and sick
