Quality issue while playing, song parts get 'skipped'

No matter if I use mobile data or wifi (both with good connection) but sometimes while I play my music, the track 'skips' parts as it wasn't entirely downloaded or so. It's not a buffering problem. Deleting the tracks from downloaded contents and adding them back doesn't resolve the issue.

Have you ever experienced this annoying behavior into the app?

Any idea on how to troubleshoot this???

Hi there @Akasoogo

Thanks for reaching out. Is this happening only when you play download tracks? In what device, OS and app version have you experienced this?

Let us know so that we can point you out in the right direction :thumbsup_tone2:

Hello Rudi, unfortunately it doesn't happen just with downloaded songs, but also with songs in playlist I haven't downloaded.

I'm using deezer version on a mobile device with android 10.

Thanks for the support!

Thanks for coming back @Akasoogo

Sorry that's happening. Could you try the following steps, exactly in this order, to see if it helps with your issue?

  • make sure you're connected to a wifi network
  • uninstall Deezer
  • remove the SD card (if applicable)
  • turn off your phone
  • reinstall Deezer
  • open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist
  • reinsert the SD card (if applicable)

Let us know how it goes :thumbsup_tone2:

Hello @Bartosh Preston, I’m not sure I notice any issue on my side. Have you compared with another source? Could you describe what you think the problem is?
