I don't wanna see politics in the deezer app, I don't wanna see deezers political views!

Stop it with this crap already. It's enough! I'm disgusted by this agitations, and your political stances in a **snipped** MUSIC streaming app.

I don't wanna see this "Women's day" or BlackLivesMatter or "LGBTQ" whatever the **snipped** they are called. Stop forcing it upon us.

Your not gonna change my political views, only thing you will accomplish, is making me cancel my HiFi subscription.

If you continue to show politics in a music streaming app, I'm done with you, and I will cancel my suscription. And so will others.

Today i see in my recommended playlists “woman sign out”, “woman speak up”, “woman shaping music”, “badass woman”, “all woman” and most is about woman, but I`m not interested about it and I can`t close this recommendations. I want to see in my recommendations what I want, not what others want. I wanna chose by myself! You should probably make it configurable.

I think this is too insane in size. Please make it less.

Personally I do not care about politics and I think these banners should be removed.

Or give option to do so. I don't really care about this one bit.

Taking too much space from everything I need to see.

Especially on little laptop 15”. Anything this big is not good.

May you give users better options.

Before you ask, I know woman and man and kids are important. I just do not care to see political message on my Deezer. Especially this size. Is it like XXL size banner or what size banner it is...

100% agree

God, will it never end?  Why does a music streaming service need to educate me?  Why do you add agitation to music?  I don't want to deal with politics, social, racial, gender issues when listening to music, why don't you stop?

If this continues and these agitations continue to appear regularly, I will switch to Spotify Hifi, which is to be launched in the autumn.  I'm really not in the mood to open Deezer today, the main page is full of agitation.  What are your plans for next month?  Lgbt?

I agree.

@Placido09 is valuable messenger.

Please listen him. I am tired of politics, coronavirus, these things makes me mad. Enough is enough. I don’t think anyone is more important, like be it black men or white woman. We are all equal.

Pushing with these political messages and pushing them big is not good.

Can you please as well make the main page of Deezer more customizable?

There should be an option to “I am not interested” or “Never show it again”. Much like on YouTube you click on the thing and select to dismiss it with an option to give a feedback why. Thanks you.

This is insane banners.

I could not see on my screen Recently played which is far more important than this message.

I really hope that Deezer will remove these banners as I am on Deezer for the music. I like Deezer as I can select what I want and you have the same option. Anything can be pushed, but this…

Make it neutral, so no politics thanks.

I hope I do not need to buy 55” screen just to see stuff I want to see on Deezer.

These political banners literally take half of my laptop screen.

And the whole screen is now about woman. I am MGTOW and I will never buy into one. Where’s Men’s nowadays. Week ago I was seeing recommendations about sex on Deezer. I think it said like sex-time or something. I really do not like them, as they are too pushy and repetitive.

I wish this to improve as I may need to look elsewhere if this keeps.

It is almost all woman now on Deezer main page...

I love music because I can forget about the problems around, I don't want to solve anything, so why if I open Deezer, I have to be attacked by promoting BLM, racism, women's rights, etc. If today is Women's Day, will you also promote Father's Day, War Veterans Day?  I don't think so, white heterosexual is not very popular these days.  I live in a post-communist country where, after negative experiences, we are very sensitive to agitation of any kind and, for example, today's International Women's Day is not very popular due to the political promotion of the previous regime.  Why does Deezer want to make me a better person again now?

Yes, I hate this too.

All tech companies have the urge to trigger and bother their customers with a political agenda.

This is a music streaming service, and I don't wanna see ANY policitial messages. If you keep harassing us with politics, I will just cancel my subscription, and so will others.

Why is Deezer spamming the front page with politics and making it hard to find music I want to listen to? It’s pushing me to unsubscribe after many years as the service is becoming unusable. I just want to see the new releases and listen to them while I work but apparently Deezer wants to push a bunch of random crap in my face that is not linked to any of my preferences and makes that difficult.

I've been watching Spotify, and there's only one Women's Day section, among many others, ok, it's one of the menus.  What infuriated me is the enormous scale of this agitation on Deezer, where the entire main page is aimed only at educating the listener with your ideology.  If Spotify brings cd quality, I'll really seriously consider a change, because there will be no reason to stay with the activist Deezer.  Spotify has a perfect algorithm, Spotify Connect, is compatible with many devices, the dating accuracy is the same as for Deezer, but the publishing company is listed, which is very important to me.  I'm really disgusted, I'll wait until Spotify Hifi starts and if Deezer continues his activism, I'll leave.

Why did you do it?

Users were clearly complaining in that thread, about Deezer forcing their political ideologies down our throats, about "Women's day" and other political agendas. Whoever had the guts to remove that thread from our eyes, shouldn't be in his actual position of power. You have no right to delete a thread, simply because it doesn't fit your narrative.

Don't you want to keep a transparent, respectful relationship with us paying customers/the community ?

This is the most disrespectful thing you could've done, and I'm excepting that the thread get's released immediately!

I don't want to see any political stances, ideologies from a streaming service. This is about MUSIC!!!

Stop forcing your politics down our throats!

^Deezer you need to stop with this **snipped**. Don't force your political opinion down on us paying users.

The Women's day is all over the app, and the homepage looks disgusting and is unusable.

I'm seriously considering to cancel my HiFi subscription. I can't stand this anymore.

I don't wanna see any politics in a music streaming app! No Women's day, no blacklivesmatter, no "LGBTQ" etc. None of that **snipped**. Stop educating your users with your political stances. I don't want to see it!

THIS IS MUSIC STREAMING APP. NOT A PLACE FOR POLITICS.

I DON'T WANNA SEE POLITICAL MESSAGES AND VIRTUE SIGNALLING, FROM A MUSIC STREAMING SERVICE.

I gladly refrain from using bad language. But if Deezer agitates their users with political messages, they shouldn't except anything else than this kind of language.

Do you think it's normal to ruin the whole homepage of a music streaming service, with political messages?

I haven't been using Deezer the last few days because of this: Imgur

It's a shame that Deezer goes this route when users are upset.  Shouldn't your service bring joy?  Personally, I was really upset yesterday, because it's been several times since you've forced your view of the world on me.  I was so upset that I didn't feel like turning on Deezer at all, luckily I have a lot of cd and lp.  To make no mistake, I respect all people, I love women, black artists make up most of my favorites, I don't care about the sexual orientation of the people around me, and many of the best artists I admire belong to LGBT.  But it is simply not right for a service to serve relaxation, pleasure, inspiration and happiness to push activism and want to make people a better person.  Peace to all.

I just temporarily switched to my YouTube Music Premium. Apparently there is none of that agitating bs there.

Gonna use YTM until this get's sorted out. Wether or not Deezer keeps pushing politics, I will cancel my HiFi subscription with them, and move to Spotify HiFi, once that comes out. It's really a shame how they are ruining their service, and everyones user experience.

It's even legitimate to call this a evil act.

Deezer earned it's 1 star review in the Google playstore from me, with the exact reason attached to it.

Listen this messenger. He is talented.

I share his views. Absolute respect for ALL people despite of colours and personal decision, just the marketing of it, all women over home page is making people mad here. I personally hate news and politics, so no wonder people who hate these stuffes, will suffer and feel bad. Today it seems better.

The women is gone and men appeared.

Deezer is for relaxation and happy evenings, not a stream to change people’s mind.

@hpguru  My Deezer Android App is still filled with the women's day activism. Nothing has changed. Maybe it's gone tomorrow.

Imagine if the Deezer developers put all their efforts into creating a robust, joyful deezer app, instead of political activism. We would have the best app. One can only wonder how much effort, development time, and meetings get wasted for this kind of stuff, that has nothing to do with music, and doesn't improve the Deezer streaming app.

It seems like for me gone. I see only big banners now, and the rest is men/women in the list just like before. Try perhaps logging out and logging back in. I think they will not run any longer as feedback was not very welcoming. I hope it gets over and spring comes, that’s more interesting to enjoy!

You are right, they could use that energy to actual improvement, and there’s bugs always in apps.

I hope this year they will fix them and as well try to improve their marketing.

It seems like no one hates here women, or LGBT, or whoever.

They just do not like the way stuff’s pushed when one supposed to relax and stop thinking.

It has nothing to do with liking/hating certain groups of people. It's about political activism being forced on the users (paying customers) of a Music streaming service.

Why do people pay for music streaming?

To enjoy listening to music, and have a good time.

Certainly not to see political messages.

I don't pay Deezer HiFi for that.

Additionaly to Deezer being a Music streaming service;

Deezer has a much smaller team than their competition, such as Spotify.

Deezer has around 800-1000 employees, while Spotify has around 6000 employees, as far as I know.

Yet Deezer decides to waste their small resources (development time) by forcefully lecturing their users about politics, and influencing their view of the world. Instead of improving the apps, and user experience, they only worsen it.

It's really awful when you think about it.

If Deezer wants to go into "politics" and has a deep urge to lecture their users about things that have nothing to do with music, they should make this clear by renaming their brand into something like:

"Deezer music & politics"

Just rename your service in the Google playstore, and Apples AppStore. Make crystalclear that your music streaming service, actually isn't only about music, but also about political messages.

This way it would be clear, what a paying customer has to except from Deezer, and he would know what he would be confronted with.

Because these seem to be Deezers intentions, and I find this deeply disturbing and sad, to be honest. Deezer is literally lying to us customers, by selling it's service as music streaming, when it's actually obviously not only that.
