How do you know if a song is available in Hi-Fi Quality

Hi,

I'd like to ask how to check if a song is available in 1411 kb/s FLAC or Hi-Fi quality for Deezer Hi-Fi. I think I've seen somewhere that not all songs in Deezer are available in the Hi-Fi quality and in the desktop application, I don't see an indication anywhere of the quality a song is currently being played in. Thus is there any way to know if a song is only available in 320 kb/s rather than 1411 kb/s.

Hi there @Bryan A

It depends on which platform you're listening to the music on. If you're using the Sonos App, you should be able to see if the song is in FLAC or not by checking the section Info & Options/Track Format.
If you're using the Desktop App or browser it's easier - at the very bottom, next to the volume button, you can filter the songs quality to HiFi. I hope this helps.

how can i see on windows software ?

and i use spark devialet … ! how can i see this on there … i will no pay für hifi , if I do not know if the song is now in hifi or not streame

Check the lower left corner of the album cover in play queue view if it says HiFi or HQ.

That's how you know if a song is hi-fi but how can we 'find' tracks that are hi-fi? I can't find any. Would be nice to be able to filter / search for them

Most songs are in hifi

Just looked through the new releases section and all were HQ. Have you got an example please so I can check it's not just my app that doesn't show Hi-fi?

And you have a hifi subscription and you changed the audio quality to hifi in your settings?

You cannot search for HiFi tracks in Deezer, but there is a HiFi Room which contains several playlists with (hopefully) HiFi-only tracks:

https://www.deezer.com/channels/hifiroom

I also think that you have not enabled HiFi audio quality (lossless FLAC) on your device yet. Which one is it, by the way? Or you have chosen the lower HQ quality (320kbps MP3), maybe mistaking it for HighDefinition/HD or HighResolution/HR which is not available on Deezer.

I’d be willing to bet that this is what is going on. With a HiFi subscription and your settings properly enabled, you don’t need to search for HiFi tracks, everything you play is in HiFi.

A few albums are still not available in FLAC format, but most of the catalogue is, i.e. more than 70mio. songs.

Ya that’s pretty much my point.
