Hey,

In the desktop application of TIDAL ,it have option to recognize the digital analog converter [dac] of the hi-fi system and streaming the music directly to him in WASAPI or ASIO
it have great sound quality.
Also, have the option to streaming the music in JRIVER MADIA CENTER and control the volume only in the HIFI system.

do you have this options in DEEZER?

thanks

There are planned updates for our desktop app that may facilitate this @Aythesus but it's early to say. I've replied to you on another topic, but here's the link for you to vote for this prioritisation:

You should be able to choose audio output and exclusive mode in Deezer settings. It is very.strange that this has been neglected as this is needed for hifi sound.

Hi @Farao, I'm happy to pass your feedback on to our developers 🙂
Yes, this is a needed option. Tidal allows it's program to take exclusive control over a computer audio device such that only music from Tidal is played over that device (in my case I set the optical output on my computer to be used exclusively by Tidal). The optical output goes to an outboard DAC which then sends the signal to my HiFi stereo (which is why I like lossless). That way other computer sounds like alerts or from an autoplay videos in my browser don't play on my stereo but on my cheapo computer desktop speakers.

This is a “must” for any music application in windows.

Thanks for sharing @komhst once again, will pass your feedback on :thumbsup_tone2:

@Rudi any idea on when it will be implemented? I’m really disappointed to listen Deezer FLACs hashed by my Mac audio card. We really need this option to use DAC as a direct output for Deezer (like Tidal does A. D.)

Hi there, I'm sorry, but we don't have an estimated time when or if it will be implemented, but we'll keep passing the suggestion on to the right team ;)

just followed the thread and last reply might’ve been 10 months.. is there any development progress on this?

Some users would prefer to choose where the audio comes out @Maximizer, if I understood you correctly. For example, system audio to come out of computer speakers and music.to come out of HiFi speakers :relaxed:

I must admit I was misinformed @Maximizer  I know the same can't happen on a MacOS X from the settings. Thanks for the screenshot and clarification!

And that's not included in our desktop app, you have to go through the Windows settings. I believe @tzahy was referring to adding the option to the app.
