Deezer on Google Home in Belgium

Deezer is still not available on Google Home in Belgium. It’s a shame need I to switch over to Spotify?

I would like to vote for this feature.
I am a Deezer Premium account for more almost 10 years.
And I have some Google Home and Nest at home.
I would really like to use Deezer on Google Home and Nest.
Could you please let me know when Deezer comes available on Google Home in Belgium?

Thank you for the feedback - we should be able to communicate better, especially about our progress.
In relation to this subject, I've checked with our team and it doesn't seem that it'll be happening in the near future - although this might change. This is because of multiple reasons, but it mostly doesn't depend on us - and I'm talking about Google.
I'm closely monitoring the expansion and which countries should benefit from this next, so if anything changes I'll be here to update the topic. In the meantime thank you for your patience and for being such a loyal user!

Seen as France the UK etc. all have support for deezer on Google Home products I was wondering if this could also come to other countries like Belgium and the Netherlands.

I'm going to cancel my account and go to spotify... I can't understand why things go sooo slow, and it does not matter it's google or deezer...

The sad truth is that it's all up to Google. But Google does not see this as a priority...
Deezer did all the possible to arrange this... So we have to be patient 😤

Obviously there are no technical difficulties as Deezer is available on google home in many countries France, UK,...but not in Belgium!!!!
We agree to use google home in english as long we can use it with deezer?
Even if it's not up to deezer...whe can't you communicate better about what steps you've undertaken, what is the effective reason why deezer is not available and what is the next step and when.

Thank you for your support. Our product managers have recently informed us that our integration with Google Home in more countries doesn’t depend on us but on Google themselves. We’ve been working hard for the past couple of years to improve this, but ultimately it is down to Google to choose which global partners to have on their devices. Thank you for your understanding on this.

Hello. Can you let us know more details about the limitations for the Belgium in order to apply a workaround ? Is this linked to the location given by the GPS of the smartphone/car ? The location of the username known by Deezer ? .. or known by Google ? … the location during the enrolment ? Thanks to help them to apply for a workaround …

deezer says it’s up to google and google says it’s up to deezer…. pfff ....
Being a Deezer user for multiple years, it is disappointing to see that there is no progress at all with this. Maybe Belgium market is not large enough? At least you could provide us an ETA. Considering switching to Spotify as well in this case, unfortunately.
I’ve switched over to Spotify for this reason. It’s ridiculous to have a Google Home and not have integration with your music streaming service.
It’s really sad though, I do like your apps better. Spotify has a bunch of missing features (notably switching profile in the app)

Isn’t there a trick to deceive Google Home that you are in an other country than Belgium? Like using a VPN network. Then it should be possible to link Deezer to your Google Home :)

We don't support VPNs
It’s Google’s problem as mentioned.
The only “solution” is to cast Deezer from your phone to your Google Home device.
With the Google Home app you can play-pause-go to next song and change the volume.
It’s the only workaround. I really cannot understand Google in this thing.

I will first excuse me, but I’ll have to say this. And I know it is linked to my emotion .
But MUSIC is EMOTION and so I speak out.
