Crossfade is such a basic function. I would like to know when Deezer plans to roll it out for the Desktop app and why they haven't done so in all these years.

Totally agree. This was the reason I swapped to Spotify as their Mac desktop app has crossfade

Completely agree. If I’m listening to an album through I don’t like having it pause for a moment between tracks when the artist intended it to be played through. If there were no delay it would not be such an issue.

The good news is that Crossfade is something we're planning to introduce to the desktop app at some point this year  please hang in there and stay tuned to our community!

I will just stay with Spotify then who have bothered to implement crossfade. One thing that I can't abide is when companies don't listen to their customers requests.

I agree too. Pink Floyd's albums are impossible to listen to, I need Crossfade tracks

Thanks for adding to the discussion @Сергей Баранов

Hopefully we're still in time for that to be added to our app this year :fingers_crossed_tone2:

Sorry about it, our developers are working for new features on computers, but we don’t have any dates yet. 🙂

We still don’t have an ETA for it.
7 months is a lot, I know but as soon as I have an update I’ll let all users in the community know.
Thanks for your patience

Thanks for telling us what you can @Jaime.  As the old saying goes ‘good things come to those who wait’ so hopefully Deezer will be amazingly awesome. :grinning:

In Beta versions it works, just adds a couple of seconds load time when you start playing a new list

I’m referring to the desktop app on MacOS, how can I get the beta app?

Oh, oh sorry i didn't consider. I do not know, i meant the android app

Still waiting. :)

I am becoming more and more disgruntled with Deezer.  I would like to be gruntled, but it seems that they have become such a disorganised entity that they cannot implement the most useful functions without spending years  - and even then they can’t fix (or even understand) the bugs.

Do I really have to go back to Spotify!?  They seem to be able to get things working :/

@MarcoG we don’t have a beta version for desktop app

I left Deezer 10 years ago because Crossfade was not available. I am trying once again, but if Crossfade is still not available in 2 months I am out…

This was 11 months ago. Any news now ?

Still no crossfade for desktop app. Any sweet New Year updates regarding crossfade?

Just do it! What could your developers possibly be working on that is in greater demand?

Still nothing about crossfade? It probably won't even be at the desktop app in 2025.

I will just stay with Spotify then who have bothered to implement crossfade. One thing that I can't abide is when companies don't listen to their customers requests.

Agreed, although I only listen to Deezer because of a subscription is able to be bought with Google Play so I can have HiFi sound quality, in Spotify you have to get Paypal or a credit card for this which prevents me from buying it at all.

Hi @zorrino

We do appreciate your patience,

As my colleague has mentioned before, we still don’t have any news regarding this feature, I am afraid,

Once we have more information we will let you guys know  :envelope:

Apologies for the delay!

It's been two years, i enlisted on beta to test this out and give feedback for development, but even the beta patch i received doesn't contain the feature.. i love Deezer, but this is a deal breaker.. I do playlists for breathing exercises etc. meditation-like and the pause breaks the flow. Meanwhile other streaming platforms have it.

I’m just curious if the devs are  still working on Crossfade for the desktop app, and is it still hopeful for this year or is there no further information at the moment? Thanks Deezer folks :fingers_crossed:
