Can't link Deezer with Twitter or Last.fm accounts

Hi,

i have trouble connecting my Deezer account to my Twitter and Last.fm account. When i visit deezer.com/account/share and try to link them, i’m redirected to Twitter/Last.fm, where i confirm, and then instead of being returned to account/share, Deezer brings me to the homepage. i have tried getting it to work both in Chrome and Edge, but that can’t be the problem, since i can normally connect Deezer to my Google+ account in both browsers.

I hope someone can help, thank you

edit: just noticed i didnt choose the category, sorry!

I have the same issue. What do you mean by choose “category” and did you resolve the issue?

Hi there @Brandt Botes @domo97

Thank you so much for reporting this and for your patience.

It could have something to do with our cookies section and permissions which has recently been updated. Please try clearing the browser's cache and cookies to see if it helps. If it doesn't, please let me know so that I can pass the details forward :thumbsup_tone2:

Thanks for asking @Brandt Botes

Our developers are on it, but they'll need more time as they're also spread out with other fixes. But overall, things are moving forward :thumbsup_tone2:

Just chiming in the I’m experiencing the same!

Hey Santiago @Santiago Cedeira

Sorry to hear that. We're working on it, hang in there a bit longer :v_tone2:

Hi.

I don’t know how useful it is to report it, but I’m having the same problem.
Twitter integration is also not working.

Also, is that right? I’m having integration available only with Twitter and Last.fm, whan I was looking for how to do it, the images showed me the possibility of integrating with Google too.

Yes @Suzu, for login, you can use Google.

Thanks for reporting it, always appreciated. I'll pass your user details to the teams :thumbsup_tone2:

Hi @Rudi

Yeah, I noticed I can link my Google account for login, but what I’m saying is that https://support.last.fm/t/deezer-scrobbling/177 shows me an image of the “sharing” screen allowing me to share stuff with Google and Facebook, so I was under the impression I could share my tracks to Google services or Facebook.

On Facebook Stories, yes @Suzu but Google is really just for authentication. In any case we're looking to improve this social sharing side of Deezer with interesting features in the near future

@Rudi - any update? It’s been a month. Surely some resources can be put against this to solve the issue or is this my sign to move to Spotify?

Oh, don’t do that.
I just moved from Spotify to here because they have no option to block songs or artists account-wide, it works only for the device you did it, and it works only in Android or iOS, not in the desktop app.
And that’s a feature that is being requested for over 2 years.
