[BUG] Broken SongCatcher catches song but doesn't show results

I noticed that the SongCatcher doesn't work anymore. It identifies a track but then does not show the results (found tracks). I tested it with several tracks, and every time it identifies the track but doesn't show results, as it supposed to show.

As you can see in the following recording, I'm playing a track on my phone's browser, and using SongCatcher to identify it:

This is another bug with the latest android update. I think that update brought easily 3-5 heavy bugs with it. I reported a few of them.

Deezer Version: 6.2.23.100

Mobile: ROG Phone 2

OS: Android 10

Can a Deezer employee please confirm this bug?

Hello.

Works on my Samsung A40 Deezer app.

Android 11, freshest Deezer app one can find on Store.

Perhaps try to delete Deezer app, reboot phone and install app back.

It catched a song and next screen was big info about it with options to add or share.

Good luck!

Used to work on my phone aswell, before this update.

So clearly that's the root of the bug. Several bugs have been appearing with that update.

Uninstalling Deezer is not a option for me, since I have almost 200gb of downloads. Don't want to re-download all of that again. Besides that downloading is also buggy with the latest version.

I rather wait and hope that all the bugs will be fixed.

I have Deezer version 6.2.23.100 if that helps Deezer and it works correctly.

I hope they can look for it.

It indeed takes much time to download 200 GB’s especially with my free net ;)

I avoid myself big downloads as 1 GB will take 15 minutes on my free net. I hope you will hear from Deezer, but for now they are perhaps enjoying Easter time. Maybe you will too despite of bugs.

Thank you for your time writing about your issue.

Aren't you somewhat using the Beta version? Or was that Placido09 whose using Beta?

Forgive me if I'm confusing you with someone else. But if you're indeed using Beta, maybe their's a difference.

I suppose they just rushed the latest update, because they wanted to enjoy Easter time so badly. That's maybe one of the reasons, why it contains so many bugs. Earlier versions didn't have this many bugs.

I'm upset and disappointed by Deezer, because it still affects my user experience.

@Placido09 is my favourite in this community.

I am not using Beta, I only use stable. I had work phone with Deezer beta, but I no more work phone, so I do not have spare phone to test Deezer Beta and can not afford one 😞 So only stable. I think Placido09 may use Beta app, you can ask him and perhaps we can see what one can do to fix.

I can as well post it to private section for Legends and Employees to look if you don’t get answer by a tuesday. So please sit tight, they will be sure near you investigating! Many thanks.

Oh man this is so annoying. I just wanted to like your latest post, and instead accidentally tapped on the 'answered' button. Now I can't undo it 😩

Deezer Forum needs serious work. Perhaps that's why many users are rather avoiding the forum, because the experience isn't too thrilling at all.
