is it possible to either nullify the service Flow. From last time when I used the application, I changed my music preferences. and the flow offers me music based on old preferences and ignores new songs that I like.

Flow is based on your favourites and playlists as they help the feature's algorithms find similar tracks and finally it can pick up what is also the most listened on Deezer. I would suggest that you create a playlist with more of your favourites (tracks) on the Deezer website.

However, we recommend, picking one of your favourite artist or genre and start the "Mix"! through their Artist Page as this feature will play other artists of a similar Genre to your favourite artist to break the monotony of Flow, as this feature will help you discover more artists and music and as you like them / favourite them, this will help the Flow algorithm learn more.

This is merely a suggestion on how to help Flow's algorithm work in your favour as sometimes Flow will still play music that has been "disliked / don't suggest" as perhaps the user hasn't used the service to an extent where it has learnt that they do not like that particular song yet. It is a learning feature and the more you play and dislike the more it learns.

Hi @Mr_ fiX, you can't reset the Flow. But it will learn 🙂 The more you play other tracks and dislike the ones that are recommended but not your taste, the sooner Flow won't recommend those tracks again 🙂
My Flow is completely broken. I added A LOT of music for parties that is not at all my taste. Flow now plays tracks I don't want to hear more than half the time. It's just an awful experience to have to diskile every other track, especially when you're trying to cook or whatever. Is it possible for Tech Support to reset it on a one-time basis? Otherwise I just can't use it (haven't used it in about three years).

Hi @meganox, please note that the Flow recommends tracks based on your favourites and listening habits. That means you've listened or added similar tracks to your favourites in the past. But Flow learns fast and the more you dislike those tracks the sooner they'll be banned from your Flow :)

I'd also check out our Mixes and playlists for certain situations or moods 🙂
How do i change my first genre preference?
I chose just rock genre and i want to add more genres?
thanks a lot
Roy.

Hi @roy.am , you can't change the genres after you've selected them in the beginning. But I'm happy to pass your feedback on to the team! I'll let you know if this will be changed in the future 🙂
I was mistaken in the initial setting of preferences at first start (Flow start and setting). How do I reset them?

After reinstalling the application, the flow behaves incorrectly, it offers rap, pop music and other shit. In the library, in your favorite tracks only doom, black metal, psychobilly, etc. In the browser on the computer, too, what do I do?
Is there a reason flow no longer makes any suggestions for new tracks you might like.
It only plays tracks I have favourited... Might aswell just listen to my favourite tracks players..it used to be great now it's terrible

Hi @sergey.artemov.54 , @Muireann , please see above 🙂
Halo halp me
I once had technical support reset my Flow, as a certain song seemed to be ‘stuck’ and kept playing every time I started Flow until it drove me crazy. I’m not really impressed with the Flow algorithm, I have hundreds of ‘liked’ songs in different genres but Flow seems to think I prefer to listen to old 80’s songs (has been like this for months now). 🙁
Any news about this??

No, there are no plans as of yet unfortunately. But as mentioned, I passed it on and will let you know, should there be a change 🙂
Hi,
I would also like this to change. This initial change affects my Flow suggestion and I don't want to create a new profile just for that.
Please advise.

There are no plans for this to be implemented at the moment, but even with this initial choice, by what you like/dislike Flow would catch up to your preferences. This choice at the beginning is just to give it a starting point so just keep liking your favorite songs/albuns/artists and Flow will know 🙂
I had a Deezer premium account and now upgraded to a family account. Now I’m the master account and I want to reset it because my daughter had all her music on it. Can I just reset my profile and start all over. Thanks

Hi @Jeman , there is no way to reset your account, but we have some tips to reshape your Flow 🙂 please see above.
Is it possible to reset my music preferences? When you open your Deezer account for the first time you get a couple of questions which music (category, artist, etc) you like. Can you answer those questions for a second time?

Hi there, that is not possible I am afraid, you would have to create a new account.

The Flow will however adapt if you keep listening. Should you have made a mistake and you just have this account opened recently it might be better to delete the account and open a new one 😉
When I First created my account I was asked to like or dislike some titles and artists.
I would like to re-do that because apparently I like a lot of French rap at the time but not anymore.
i want to stop Flow, New etc to play certain artists.
So how to I specify what I like and don’t like in order to get appropriate music for me?

Please see above more info about it 😉
My son was using my user by mistake for few weeks before switching to his private user. His music history still l effects the "flows" the app chooses for ME. What can I do to delete the flows history?
Thanks
As far as I know flow is based on what you like. So, I guess, you can go to your favourites tracks and dislike ones you don't like 🙂

@Guy.BenShachar It's not possible to reset your Flow, but as @Karen.Kasparov said, first you should delete the tracks you don't like from your favourites. Further if you dislike the recommendations in Flow, it will quickly learn what you like and dislike and the recommendations will soon change 🙂
