How to add artists/content from playlists into "my music"?

I migrated my music library from Spotify (due to their ridiculous 3333 song/device offline limit) by setting up 6 playlists, each with close to 1000 tracks and copying them with some third party software.

I've added them to my (premium) Deezer account and downloaded them to my Android phone so I can access them offline. But my big issue is that I can only see the music from the playlists IN the playlists - how do I add the tracks/albums/artists to "my music"? It was pretty simple with Spotify.

I also use the Desktop version on a PC as well as on an Android phone.

Thanks

Hi there, I see what you mean. But that's not possible on Deezer I'm afraid. Tracks need to be added to a playlist and you don't have the option to just open a list of all tracks in your music library. You can "Shuffle My Music" or shuffle your downloads though which will be a random selection of your music collection.

Hope that answers your question.
And we'll pass your feedback on to the team. Maybe this will be possible in the future 🙂

Hi there, I am not sure what you mean. We do not develop this software so we cannot guarantee the success of it. However, if you add songs to a playlist you will not have the artist in your favourites just because of that, you will have to add it manually I am afraid.
How much clearer can I be? I want to add ALL the music that is on my Deezer account so it shows on the "My Music" section. This is around 5500 tracks, so hundreds upon hundreds of albums. I don't want it in my favourites, I want it so that the artists and albums show up, so that I can search for them, not having to find them inside playlists. There is no way I will manually add these, that is RIDICULOUS. With Spotify it was very straightforward

Well who develops the software then? I dont care if I have to use the Windows Desktop or Android to do this but if I can't then I'll be cancelling my subscription straight away as it's of zero use. There must me a simple way to do this.

Oh yes, that answered my question - I am now cancelling my premium subscription and going to a fully functional premium streaming service - Spotify.

I'll be sure to warn people off using Deezer until they get their act together (but I've been waiting for years for that to happen, so I doubt it!) and make it at least as usable as the competition.
I also would like to add tracks to my music library, in separate from my favourite tracks, albums, artists, and playlists.

As a workaround or a simple solution to Deezer development team: add a pseudo playlist and add anything to it. Show it as "all my music", so you have separated these tracks from your favourite tracks.

Hi @Talchu at the moment this is not something that is possible, but you are welcome to add this to our ideas forum 😉
Added as an idea in the ideas forum. I need your vote.

I'm astounded that this isn't a core of the platform! As far as I can tell there is no way to organise your collection aside from (up to 2000) playlists. The artist tab has no filter for 'My liked tracks", so it is of no use at all. Failing that you have to listen by album.
I could possibly understand a completely user created library structure using only playlists, IF there were folders and nesting - but a single level of 2000 playlists is madness.
