DEEZER CATALOGUE - something is missing :mag_right:

We're really sorry to know the tracks you love isn't on Deezer. Not all artists and rights' holders choose to add their music on our platform. We always respect their wishes so some music isn't available or might be temporarily removed. 

Some of the reasons for this are: 

RIGHTS' HOLDERS :microphone:

If an artist has a large discography with different rights' holders controlling different albums you can sometimes find gaps in the catalogue - if a certain rights' holder hasn't yet agreed to allow the music they control to be streamed online.

TERRITORY :globe_with_meridians:

Streaming rights are also defined by territory - country, region, location. The tracks that appear in the search box when you're looking for music are the songs that are available in all territories. In a small number of cases, a user in a different country may not have access to different tracks so an "unavailable in your country" message appears when they try to listen to it. 

SO WHAT SHOULD I DO? :weary:

We're constantly updating and re-negotiating our agreements with rights' holders and thousands of tracks are added to our catalogue every single week.

You can try a couple of things:

  • Add your MP3 collection to Deezer :calling:
  • Contact the artist via their social media channels and request for the tracks/albums to be added to Deezer, we take care of the rest :nerd:

I’ve tried numerous times to message bands on social media to tell them an album’s missing from Deezer and they never reply or apparently care since the albums are still missing.

But, I really miss an album that Ray Charles did called Genius loves Company I keep going in and see if it’s added, is it possible to get it added a I’d be an even bigger fan ( sucking up here!!) regards Sully

I can’t find this on Deezer to listen Hi Fi. It’s not at all there.

Hope it can be added. On Spotify FI it is available when on trail.

Is there any chance of having Skinnyman’s UKHH classic back? I’m pretty certain Council Estate of Mind used to be available. I have it on both Spotify and Tidal, however the album page after a quick Google search says it’s not available on Deezer in my country, the UK. :thinking:

Label can decide on which shops music is available. They can for example exclude Deezer or low quality mp3 shops. It’s really something we can’t do. We either inform Deezer or find it elsewhere.

Dear sir, madam,

 

Unfortunately we do miss complete albums and songs of the formation PNL / PNL World.

Could you tell us what the reason is? Are there any ideas to make these albums/songs available in Deezer. I am based in The Netherlands

Hey @Jaime., thanks for your message. The only thing is, there are several already on Deezer. Why not the others tracks (of the same label).

I noticed Snow Crystal by Babalos isn’t on Deezer although it is on spotify, has anyone an idea why?

Hey @golexa and @Remco de Winter, ultimately it’s the artist an its label/distributor that decide where to distribute their music. But if you have their music in mp3 format you can add it to your library.

sorry i don’t have a premium account to add their music,and by adding her to my library that wont solve the problem that tiara is not available to deezer

I’ve noticed that Korean rock bands from FNC Entertainment like CNBlue, N. Flying, and FT Island are missing several Korean albums or all of them (in the case of FT Island). There are a lot of Japanese live albums for all these bands, which is appreciated, but their Korean catalog is the main one and other services have these albums, which I find weird.

It’d be great to have their catalog of music. These are important rock bands from South Korea.
