Hi my name is Séri,

I’m a French 20yo singer and I uploaded my music with Distrokid to Deezer. Unfortunately another artist is called Séri and my songs (1 Ep + 1 single) were put under her name. 

can you help me create my own artist page and put my songs under my own page ? (I haven’t had the problem with other plateforms like Spotify, Apple Music...).

Hello!, we have a problem here, our EP came to light on October 27, 2022 but an artist profile was not created for us, it turns out that in Nicaragua there is someone who uses the same name, this on other platforms has not been a problem, a profile has simply been created for us and that's it. 

 

We need help by creating a profile or artist channel for us, and our songs are placed there, we have not been able to advertise in Colombia because we would direct them to a wrong profile in Deezer

For the artist BT, there’s a mix of other artists trying to use the ame name. The first three tracks here, along with 5, 6 and more are in the wrong place/should be removed.

Hi,

You've also incorrectly added a number of singles to British artist Alan MX https://deezer.page.link/rLXWoDMaHR3dSvW7A. The album is correct, but the singles are not.

Hello, hoping this thread is still the correct place to report artist profile issues. My electronic-pop  group KYPER (specifically lettered all caps) has had our 2 releases (distributed from distrokid) placed on the artist profile of another “Kyper” - a new profile should have been created for us.

Our music and collaborations get constantly attributed to a different artist (inactive for years...) when released. That is the reason why we specifically ask our distributor to link our music to RavenscaR with two upper R, hoping it would prevent this issue. Unfortunately, it is not the case. Hello!

Hi,

I have  contacted support about this but it hasn't been fixed.

Hello ! No, as i said there are 6 songs missing. In fact, it’s all the songs that were on the original “Zek” account. It seems they are not on Deezer anymore (!)

Hi Rudi

 

There are now two bands on DEEZER called WAYS, both written in capital letters.

The first one has been around for a long time, but now a new band has joined.

This WAYS makes completely different music and of course also attracts completely different listeners.

Is it possible to separate both bands?

Hello @BMRG I restored the old artist page but I can’t move the tracks to the other artist page, 

please contact the distributors and ask them to change the name of the artist and send the tracks again to the correct artist page.

I released a song on the 14th of February on Deezer called ‘Since London’

I can’t claim my account or my song on the platform because it’s on someone else’s page who has the same name. “Joolz”

In the Android app, Steel Prophet does not have the discography section. To get to their albums, you have to find a track in the top tracks and use its menu to go to the album page.

Can you please fix this? Thanks!

The organization of “Ravi Shankar” in your catalog is in need of serious rearrangement. A search for “Ravi Shankar” turns up dozens of artist profiles, most of which belong under “Ravi Shankar” (https://deezer.page.link/ygHuzrzfR8ZXcz3D7).

Just to name a few, “Pt. Ravi Shankar” (https://deezer.page.link/zrdpxfMrFdsC7gBo6) and “Pandit Ravi Shankar” (https://deezer.page.link/uo4XSNpEUPivwudS8) both refer to the same Ravi Shankar (“Pandit” is an honorific title). “The Ravi Shankar Project” (https://deezer.page.link/4JgS2yypRYscYzWo9) is also just Ravi Shankar, and indeed only references one album, which is correctly attributed to Ravi Shankar. If you can clean this up, you will be light years beyond that other service, who never lifted a finger to fix their Ravi Shankar mess, even after a description as detailed as this one.

It is also very important for the recommendation algorithm to keep these straight. I’m not marking Ravi Shankar as a favorite, even though the famous sitarist is certainly one of my favorites, because I don’t want other Ravi Shankars recommended to me.
