Wrong Tracks Info

Hi,

There is another bug to report. When I add some tracks form THE SAME album to my favourite tracks or playlists some of them have wrong album tagging:

As you can see, in the picture some tracks are missing "(International Deluxe)". However, all of them are from the same album. Check it on your own:

Moreover, when I go to this album in French; German; Polish; Italian, etc. version of the page it says: "The Fame Monster (International Deluxe)"

but when I visit this album in English version of the page, album name is different (picture below):

I think this may cause the problem mentioned above in favourite tracks or playlists. And remember this problem concerns lots of artists.

Hi @pawllo01 thank you for the photos, the detailed explanation and even creating a test account. 

Please bear in mind that there are often several versions of albums. For Lady Gaga - The Fame Monster I was able to find 3 versions: 

The Fame Monster (NOT Deluxe, Explicit Version)

The Fame Monster (International Deluxe, NOT Explicit)

The Fame Monster (Deluxe Edition, Explicit)

Depending on the music licensing rights per country the availability of different versions can vary.

In order to make it easier and more organised in your Deezer account I would simply search for one album, filter by album at the top of the page and then only add songs from your favourite album version :wink:

It's true. I can find 3 editions as you mentioned:

However I was talking about one particular edition (the last one on the picture). I said that tags are different for different languages but I didn't change the album, id was the same. You thought that I had changed it to different edition but I didn't, check it:

It’s still the same album but only with different translation and - tags which are a bug.

Of course, tags would be different if I change the album to other version (different ID), that’s normal and obvious.

Do you really think that the English version of the page shouldn't have all that important information about names of the artists who had remixed songs? I don’t think so.

Many apologies @pawllo01 I was dealing with a lot of requests that day and only focused on the different versions and album titles per country. Thank you for explaining it again in detail.

I forwarded this to our catalogue team, so they can check why some track info is not available for deezer.com/en :wink:

Hello. You can create a new musician card and transfer the track "https://www.deezer.com/ru/album/159651522?app_id=140685&utm_source=partner_linkfire&utm_campaign=5aa69c439062293f1724a8d38249434e&utm_medium=Original&utm_term=objective-stream&utm_content=album-159651522" there. When you click on the artist, another musician card is displayed.
