Sound quality issues


Hi,

When I stream certain songs, it makes a cd cracking noise and eventually stops playing if the cracking noise increases.

I have the app installed on my sony xz2 phone with android 9 pie firmware.

I have tried everything from cache clearing to uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail.

Has anyone here in this community experienced it? Please help with the solution.

I played this track from her and sounds totally fine! There is guiar in the beginning of the track that sounds too low comparing with the rest of it, but this is just how they have edited the track.

Please open the app and go to the settings > app > and clear the cache. This will delete your downloaded songs, but will help you fixing this 😉 Let me know how it goes!

Do you have your settings set to HiFi?

Make sure you have all your audio settings set to the HiFi.

I have come across a few tracks were it does make noise and crashes.


Seeting up Deezer to the highest level of sound SHOULD solve your problems.
The audio quality settings is set to HQ if that's what you mean and the streaming to devices is also set to HQ but it still doesn't solve the problem.

Generally deleting the smart cache solves this problem unless the tracks are actually broken @Jay Larson

On my favourites list there is no sound anymore.. What happend? I click on the list, the songs start but no sound!

Thank you for your patience. In what device and OS are you using Deezer on? Have you tried reinstalling the app?

I have signed in for  premium however my bit rate is still low (128 i.s.o. 320).

Please advice.

Lindemann's album "Skills In Pills" has a very bad quality. In others streaming services Spotify, Apple etc all is ok.

I just listened to it and it sounds normal to me. What's the issue exactly? Have you tried another device?

I dont have this app on other devices. It kinda scratches and sound quality is way off.. Many other songs does the same. Recently i noticed that sometimes a song might jump few seconds or end several seconds too soon. It happens only sometimes and might occur with any song

Hello @Ampputin, I strongly recommend that you follow the steps of this troubleshooting in the order they are described, if you haven’t already. Is the Deezer app installed on an external SD card?
