DEEZER CATALOGUE - something is missing :mag_right:

We're really sorry to know the tracks you love isn't on Deezer. Not all artists and rights' holders choose to add their music on our platform. We always respect their wishes so some music isn't available or might be temporarily removed. 

Some of the reasons for this are: 

RIGHTS' HOLDERS :microphone:

If an artist has a large discography with different rights' holders controlling different albums you can sometimes find gaps in the catalogue - if a certain rights' holder hasn't yet agreed to allow the music they control to be streamed online.

TERRITORY :globe_with_meridians:

Streaming rights are also defined by territory - country, region, location. The tracks that appear in the search box when you're looking for music are the songs that are available in all territories. In a small number of cases, a user in a different country may not have access to different tracks so an "unavailable in your country" message appears when they try to listen to it. 

SO WHAT SHOULD I DO? :weary:

We're constantly updating and re-negotiating our agreements with rights' holders and thousands of tracks are added to our catalogue every single week.

You can try a couple of things:

  • Add your MP3 collection to Deezer :calling:
  • Contact the artist via their social media channels and request for the tracks/albums to be added to Deezer, we take care of the rest :nerd:

adding your mp3 is definitely not a solution and chasing and begging artists is your job,not ours

Hi all, it’s indeed not your job, but when we’re talking about artists beginning their careers or underground artists, I can tell you from my personal experience that support is always appreciated and showing them that they do have a potential audience on a service, whichever platform it is, is very encouraging. I’ve done it again not too long ago and the album I was looking for was uploaded, much to my enthusiasm and just by contacting the artist on social medias. We get from users hundreds of song requests a month, not only on Communities, and our teams cannot handle them all unfortunately.

These raps should be available in first place. Real rap.

No f words, no offensive lyrics, just the thing inside a box you’ll like.

I agree, it is not our job to beg artists to upload in your service.

hello! is it possible Rina Sawayama's singles ‘TOKYO TAKEOVER’, ‘Terror’ and EP ‘Sawayama Remixed’ could be added to Deezer (Her album Sawayama Deluxe is on Deezer, but Sawayama Deluxe and Sawayama Remixed are two seperate albums/EPs)? oh and Mitski's discography is missing a LOT of singles, EPs and albums! Some examples of her missing albums are ‘Lush’ and ‘Retired from Sad, New Career in Business’. also, LOOΠΔ's album [X X] and a LOTTTT of MAMAMOO EPs and singles still haven’t been added to Deezer even though they are very, very popular. I know it’s not your fault, but I might as well still mention it 🙂 Thank you!

@Harmonie no, don't grudge, it's normal in the industry - there are agreements with other streaming platforms, for example, so it's quite complex. Sometimes it's just that it's temporarily unavailable or that we need to request it.

That's why I forward all the feedback to the teams, they always check if we can get it or not. With some labels, due to the agreements we have, it's easier to get more content :thumbsup_tone2:

I told our teams about the album @IvanE fingers crossed!

That wasn't a message for you @Hbf03 we should be able to get the Mariah content, you're right, but it could be all due to territorial rights :relaxed:

I had a more detailed reply that seems to have been lost to ‘moderation’ script, but the major Japanese artists missing from the library in the USA that I’m requesting all fall under the same umbrella of avex group: Ayumi Hamasaki, Koda Kumi, BoA (Japanese albums), Namie Amuro. Labels are avex trax and rhythm zone -- there are a lot of Japan chart-topping albums between them. Thanks!

Sometimes when you have several bands with the same name this mix-ups might happen, and our music team is constantly working on this (please keep in mind that we have a 90+ million songs catalog).
Thanks for reporting any issues.
Regarding Kalaf’s nusic, if you could send the URL’s on Deezer which correspondo or not to the artist I’ll be able to make changes. 
I have updated Earhtling’s profile with the missing album now

Not sure if this is the right section to post in (apologies if not!), but any idea as to why some of Bring Me the Horizon’s albums have been suddenly removed? They were available before, yet have now vanished from the database.

Specifically, these albums:

  • Count Your Blessings
  • Suicide Season
  • There Is a Hell Believe Me I’ve Seen It, There Is a Heaven Let’s Keep It a Secret

They are still up on other streaming platforms.

Would be great if they could return to Deezer again.

Hii, is it possible you could add some more of Mamamoo’s songs and just generally more kpop songs in general? Like gogobebe is one of Mamamoo’s most popular songs (from the White Wind album) and yet there is only the instrumental? The amount of mp3s I had to make is tiring- I was also surprised TWIT by Hwasa is not on Deezer like huh? Deezer is an amazing app, so it’d be great to have more amazing songs! Hi@Rudi ! I realized that Mamamoo, wjsn, Dreamcatcher, Loona and GFriend’s discography (they are kpop groups) aren’t complete on Deezer. It’s very weird since, for example, Mamamoo’s songs Wind Flower or Gogobebe aren’t on Deezer but their instrumentals are. Could you guys check it please? Thanks! <3

I really want to come back to Deezer, but half of the discography of my favorite artist is still missing and I can’t even understand why that would be.

All the MAMAMOO albums distributed by LOEN Entertainment are missing from Deezer and from no other platform. I’ll give 3 album examples: Red Moon, Blue;s and Yellow Flower. However LOEN Entertainment has been known as Kakao M since 2018 and their albums distributed under the new name (Kakao M) ARE available on Deezer (example: Travel).

This issue has been brought up before (by me, and other users). I’ve personally requested those 3 albums months ago. Could someone please look into it and tell me what the issue with those albums is? These albums have songs that have hundreds of millions views on Youtube and MAMAMOO as a group has over 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify. This is a HUGE gap in their discography.

I’m very frustrated cause I had to quit Deezer cause of these missing albums and now I can’t come back (disappointed with Spotify) because the albums are still missing.

Deezer has tremendous content, it is much better than on YouTube Music, and is a case in a way. I feel gifted to be able to use larger music library after canceling with Big G. Not all music is on Deezer because lots of time artist or label has to decide. They can release at different shops with different dates. New songs on Deezer on release date, but sometimes artist or label may decline.

Ask label or artist and say them how much you wait them on Deezer.

Be the love of their music, a Deezerhead, and maybe one day you’ll have a gift for you waiting you on your Deezer Premium. Let it play with finest quality :) Enjoy the repertoire of your faves!

Hello! I’ve noticed Hwasa’s María EP ( https://deezer.page.link/b1XLjD12dEquAGPY7 ) is missing one song called TWIT! And https://deezer.page.link/2q3XMHTB1yXH5KXM9 and https://deezer.page.link/59fxj5BLbkds8wiv5 are the same group of people! Yet one song is on the second account and most of their songs on the first! Oh, and they are missing a song called iriwa aka Come Closer. https://deezer.page.link/JA4JfhcSqJaFzR198 and https://deezer.page.link/ic9mbwrxbvGCjDf2A are the same person too. The first account also has random songs by another person called Solar(?) it should only be the kpop Solar, with the songs Spit it out, Blue Bird and she’s also missing multiple songs. Hi @Kandi Ya Kandiwapa it is indeed related to rights, even when it was available before might not be available a few months after because of undergoing negotiations.
