Can Deezer remove the offensive political messages from 'Trending searches', please?

I think Deezer will need to monitor this issue.

Can you post a screenshot of where this message is?

Hello – here’s a screenshot of the ‘Trending searches’ window that pops when you click in the ‘Search’ field:

Hi @Andrew 143 what is trending is a song from the following artist which is available in other platforms and even was in the top ten single charts in the UK:

If a right-wing group tried to use Deezer as a platform to attack the Labour Party – using terms that are offensive to women – would you allow it?

If everything were censored, there wouldn't be much left, everyone can decide what to listen to.

People in North Korea can not decide even that… :expressionless:

I agree that there should be user’s decision, however also options to hide these trends.

I tried on Android and Web App and did not see trending searches.

Is it served only for Free users or why I for example did not see it?

Can original poster try clearing cache or app removal, perhaps they’ll go away?

@Andrew 143 Deezer does not condone any type of discrimination or form of hate against individuals or groups because of race, religion, gender, sexuality or other factors. We have a strict process in place to monitor for and remove illegal content from our platform, while ensuring that we do not restrict freedom of speech or expression, irrespective of our personal view on any given artist or issue.
Thanks:relaxed:
