That does not work this way.

You can download missing songs using MP3 lock storage on Deezer.

it won’t be a copyright violation?

No. It will only be accessible for your account.

Technically you can download anything MP3, podcast episodes, radio rips etc.

If said music is not available in your country and you “download” it as mp3 its against copyright laws regardless of the platform you getting it from(obviously podcasts, radio aka broadcast fall under a diff set of rules), there is a reason why you can’t access songs not available to you via deezer.

I’d not accept this answer as correct imo

You don’t need to accept.

But since MP3 lock on Deezer is personal, no one is watching.

I personally see no point uploading stuff here (legally preferrably) which is already here for a listen.

Tons of music on deezer not available in my own country, which use to be available, came down to copyright laws. These laws diff from country to country, so suspect deezer will follow this so not have legal disputes. Telling someone to just download it as mp3 or whatever on said deezer account might or might not be illegal in terms of deezer being the supplier(its still a form of distributing, even for personal use)

EDIT: I guess my issue really is not with copyright of the song/s itself but the license to distribute said music in whatever country, so just pooled that under a copyright in general which most distributor would claim under their license anyways

That's accurate @neowonderboy

It's about distribution rights in your country. But using our MP3 too is fine, like @hpguru, if you have the content in your computer, you can upload to your Deezer app so that you can listen to it too, exclusively.

Try it out, it's a nice way to fill in those gaps caused by the distributors :v_tone2:

You can always praise label or artist, and kindly ask them to Upload in Deezer, Spottily and Beatport of your country. Unfortunately there is nothing else you can do to change the label decision.

With MP3 you can fill this gap caused by label rights.

You don’t need to use it of course, but then you don’t have these tracks to listen for now.
