21 days waiting for Backstage Access


Hello!

Last thursday 27th of February, I requested access to my Backstage account.

I know that the servers can be busy sometimes, but I’ve been waiting for three weeks, now.

 

What can I do?

Thanks for coming back to us with that info.

It's just a matter of volume of requests now. On this page here, you'll see some artists had to wait quite some time too. Once again, apologies for this delay :thumbsup_tone2:

Hi @jxrdimusic we are sorry about that - how exactly did you try to claim your artist profile? 

Please request access to our new Backstage for artists platform hereclick on the button 'request access' and make sure you include enough evidence :wink:  

In case you have already done that and paid a lot of attention while filling it out please let us know and we see what we can do.

@Pia.Deezer I claimed my account through the new Backstage for artists platform, and I filled it correctly. 

I also received a mail sent by backstage@deezer.com telling me that the Access request had been received correctly.

Hi Deezer. I have a question. On 29/02/2020 I sent a request for registration in Backstage and received an email that my request was accepted. To this day, I still do not have access, although I also posted a second request to which I received an answer that I already have one. Do I need to do something extra to access Backstage

Thanks for the reply. I made a third attempt to register in Backstage, but for the third time I received a response that I have already reqested access. I understand that there are many requests, if I have to wait as long as I have to. May be the situation with the cornavirus complicates things. I wish you the most to be healthy now!

Hi @Velisslav thank you for your understanding, that is very kind. Our Backstage team is located in France and it has been quite chaotic. I am sure they are trying their best to catch up on the requests to give you all access :slight_smile:

Why haven't I heard back about my backstage registration? I signed up and claimed my artist profile about 2 months ago. Never heard anything since.

I try to register again and it says “you’ve already requested access to backstage”

Apparently, the balls in your court Deezer. I’m not even directing traffic to this site because my profile looks very unprofessional.

We're very sorry to hear you haven't had your access granted yet. Since the launch of Backstage, our team has been inundated with requests and the volume is so high at the moment that it's taking longer to process all in a speedier way - without compromising on efficiency. The teams are aware of this and working hard to improve the situation. Could you please send me your artist profile URL via a PM so that I can try and reach them out to check if everything's ok?

In the meantime, feel free to post here your artist profile pic, bio and social media links. Our team can update these ourselves. Thank you for your patience and for your understanding.

The Artist page is the Deezer profile of the artist I requested the access? This is the artist profile: https://www.deezer.com/en/artist/11475 the email I use was removed to protect personal details

Hello deezer team,

I have applied for a request for my artist profile but have not received anything to date, it is important to me that other artists post their release on my profile and therefore most likely receive streams through me, everything is fine and good, but followers flood me with why it is so and get excited.

Thanks for reaching out! Yeah, we need to allocate more resources to keep up with the backlog of requests.

Have you checked if there's any content that doesn't belong to you in your profile? If there isn't, send me a PM with your requester email and I'll chase that for you :wink:
