Hi Android team!

The loved track list does not update automatically or it takes long time
I need to update manually (swipe movement)

Actual app : 6.2.26.1
Device : OnePlus Nord

Thanks!

Usual trick here would be to suggest you try a cache clear first. Then if no succes try clear all data from Deezer app, uninstall and provide feedback, please 👍

Hi @Axouuu ,

Thank you for your feedback.

If I understand correctly, you added a track to your favorite tracks, but when you go to the favorite tracks page, you cannot see the newly added track, right ?

Did you add the track to your favorite tracks from the Android app or from another platform ?

Also, what do you mean by “it takes long time “ ? Does it take seconds, minutes, hours ?

Thank you,

Maxime

I have sometimes similar problem. Android lists does not update unless you swipe down on a list to get updates. I usually add tracks on my computer Web App if that does help. Newest version.

Also Offline tracks gets long to download even when list updated. It does not start.

Only maybe next or next day will start download. Even on Wifi.

Not only favourites, but all lists with these problems.

Samsung Galaxy A40

Android 11

Deezer 6.2.24.64

It’s a first thing I do when on my phone list, I swipe down… I am so used for it.

I think, however, perhaps it’s not how it should work.

Perhaps it should update right when you are on list, like any other app does.

Thank you.

Hi @Maxime.

I just tested again, and it seems to be fixed (very strange)

Yes

Did you add the track to your favorite tracks from the Android app or from another platform ?

On the Android app only

what do you mean by “it takes long time “ ? Does it take seconds, minutes, hours ?

Approximately 30 seconds
Or instantly by refreshing the list

At first glance this is not a major bug but for users, the experience is degraded ^^

@Axouuu good to know !

I will let the team know about it anyways just in case.

We know we still have performance issues when dealing with big lists of tracks.

@hpguru Yes unfortunately I don’t think we have a system that automatically updates the playlist when it was changed on another platform. What we do is that we update at the app startup, when doing a pull-to-refresh like you said or when the playlist is modified on the same device.

Could it be added?

The system I mean. Any other streaming app I tried, update between devices was quick.

It works now, but it is like you said at start only or when user update manually.

Based on performance, I think loading liked tracks when much tracks (I now have 1943), it takes over 7 seconds on mobile all the time. Can it be cached to speed up the process? I thank you.

I hope you can work out some solutions eventually, not now.

Also big thanks for coming to Community as a Team Member. This means a lot.

Hi @hpguru ,

I agree with you that 7 seconds is not acceptable to display the page and we should improve it :)

I have transferred this to the team responsible for playlists to let them know.

Thank you again for your feedback.
